If it’s open, head around back to the large biergarten with a view of the hills, or the interior cozy bar. That one was clsoed on the Sunday that we visited, so we had a nice meal in the front, which is a classier restaurant.“ |

Stock rotates, so when we were there they had beers from Russia, Poland, Ukraine. One was a 9.5% beer in a 2 liter plastic container - scary. Oh, and they had Efes, which didn’t quite seem to fit.“ |

Place looks like it would be very fun in the summer. Service was good and the food was even better. A nice stop.“ |

They have a beergarden in the summertime and have great Hunsruck (local) food. Including grilled Spiesbraten made on an open grill in the bar. They have a full selection of Kirner beers and Erdinger Dark and Crystal Weizens. They have rooms as well if you need a place to stay. Great place for visiting the Gem mines or many Celtic Ruins.“ |
