“Beautiful old country brewery on the edge of Korschenbroich, all the old brick-walls are freshly painted, the whole place looks tidy and neat… The brewery-shop in the courtyard offers the whole selection of Bolten ( go there in December for the Nikolaus-Bier!) at very, very reasonable prices. Not worth a journey, but worth a detour…“

“Visited 13.10.17. Beergarden across the street was closed when we got there, around midday. Went to buy a couple of beers and some senf at the brewery shop across the street - impressive store with plenty of cheap beer and souvenirs. There's beer on the fridge but they wouldn't let you drink on the spot. You can buy a glass and pour at the parking lot though. Worth the stop.“

“A huge and impressive brewery with a beer garden across the road by the car park (which sadly wasn’t open when I visited). There’s a shop in the courtyard of the brewery selling there beers at incredibly cheap prices. I bought all 7 that were available for just €4.50!“

“Oldest Altbier brewery in NordRhein-Westfalen, in Korschenbroich (pronounced Korsjenbroog) near Mönchengladbach. No brewery tap, but a shop where you can get the beers plus several other products made with their beer, such as Kräuterlikör (a lot better than Jägermeister), mustard a.o. Good service. Across the street is a Biergarten that is open on summer afternoons and evenings. The brewery can be reached from Korschenbroich station by bus, the stop is called: Bolten Brauerei.“
