“This is a "local local" pub! Located in the place that was previously known as Ambolten. Selection is not among the best, but it is worth a small detour. From the train station "Øksnavadporten" it is a 20 minutes walk. Apart from the usual standard industrial beer they do have lot of Rygr on tap and in the fridge (thats the least we would expect since Rygr is 3 min drive from the pub). The bar inside is nicely furnished, Service is ok. Visit 04.09.2020 with Bryne.“

“This is a real local pub! Some years ago it was known as Ambolten. Nowadays it has new owners and the bar has undergone a total refurbishing. Much better beer selection too and actually worth a small detour. From the train station "Øksnavadporten" it is a 20 minutes walk. At my visit Nilsas was my private chauffeur! The one and only time? For American visitors: there is a large, free parking lot in front! Spacious, covered patio in front too. Large bar inside, comfy seating and very friendly service.13 beers on tap and about 30 more in fridges. Always one or two from local Rygr on tap, the rest are uninterested beers from the Carlsberg portfolio. The Rygr beers are super fresh! Some interesting cans in the fridge and they seems to rotate.
