Turns out to be a very good craft beer venue. Good selection, and Angelo is knowledgable. Very much enjoyed visiting with him.“ |

Total hipster feel to the place with paintings and turntable/huge album collection. Service was great as while we were waiting in line, cute bartender girl came out from behind the bar and took our order, which she then delivered to our seats. Mostly family style/bierhaus seating, so we shared a long table with a few other people. Literally overcrowded on a Friday at 5 PM, luckily they have outdoor seating on the street as well. Beers and pricing decent enough to warrant a return visit.“ |

Beer was okay and the pizza wasn’t bad. Brewmaster and bartender were excellent and the place filled up quite fast.“ |

Pouring brews, spinning vinyl, and taking time to really talk and get to know you. The samples don't match up to the quality of their beers in pints.“ |

Sat outside on a beautiful day, went inside and ordered, finally just went in and got our order because I knew the guy was buy himself. Solid lineup of different styles, Hefeweizen was unimpressive, Other beers from flight were o.k....imperial IPA was the best of the bunch. Will try again on a not so busy day. Cool note, guy at bar walked around behind the bar and switched vinyl records out....real vinyl...crankin creedance....pretty cool.“ |
| 84 /100 16 E SCRANTON AVE “Brand new brewery and I had a great time on a Saturday afternoon. Location is in downtown Lake Bluff, which is a very nice location for anything, especially a brewery. Tap room is very small, yet very comfortable and inviting. With the lack of space, there was always someone to see if you need anything. New customers looking for an afternoon pint were warmly greeted and quickly served. The staff played their own collection of music and was at the perfect decibel. Quickly made friends with the staff and fellow patrons. There was a good turnover of customers in my couple of hours there. This overall atmosphere gave the impression that I was hanging out at a friend’s house and meeting new friends. Beer is pretty good, and I found my favorites. I guess the only negatives are not really negatives. Since they are brand new, there is not much on the menu. But my panini was very good. And with the selection, there were about 6 or 7 to choose from. I tried them all, but how often do you try 10 different beers when you go out on the town? Finally, my purchased filled growler along with my pint glasses were all purchased at excellent value. My part of the world needs more places like this.“ |
