“Visited in Summer 2017. Typical tourist trap with brewing equipment on display, a musty smell, overpriced food and massively overpriced, absolutely horrible beer. 6 eur for 300ml of chlorophenol-ridden abominations. I passed after trying three of them. Unless you are a rabid ticker or like to suck on a mummy's toe, you may just skip this place. Well, unless thay have improved their brewing since then, which is not likely, given the other reviews.“

“Nice little wine shop in the center of Larnaca with a talkative owner. They don't focus on beer, so the selection was limited at the time of my visit (Summer 2017) to a few better known Belgian and English beers and some local offerings in the vein of True Ale. Greece was present in the form of Marea and the underrated Nissos. Still it was the best beery place I could find in the eastern part of the island.“

“A small cluttered bottle shop in cetral Larnaca. The guy spoke english well and had a few local beers and one local cider for purchase. Sadly the beers seemed skunked but that may be a function of the brewery as the cider was fine. Worth a stop to get some local beers if you are in the area.“

“For my money the best beer bar in Larnaca. They had Kernel bottles in the fridge which I'd never seen before - sure, I'm a country bumpkin from Canada but nonetheless that is excellent. Also a new local beer which is worth oodles of Euros to me. Numerous bottles and over a dozen things on tap, great service and prices were acceptable. A great and necessary stop when in Larnaca.“

“Sultry on the inside and sadly their main selling point - their own locally brewed beer - was out of stock! Otherwise a finy curated menu of mostly European microbrews. Interior was all wood and people were happily smoking all over the place, a shock to me now that I live in a part of the world overrun by self righteous social justice warriors. Otherwise a decent beer bar with a good selection of good craft beers, if you don't mind the smoking.“

“Just a big supermarket on the edge of central Larnaca, their craft beer selection was slanted heavily toward Brewdog along with some Greek and Russian appearances. Prices were okay. Don't come here expecting to find Cypriot microbrews.“

“A brewpub right on the tourist strip beside the beach in Larnaca. Service was good and not on the menu was a flight of 8 2 ounce pours for a mere 5 euros - a great way to try their beers which are all pretty mediocre. Worth doing for that alone but otherwise there isn't much appeal to the place and I find Larnaca's beach area kind of gaudy. There is also an extensive bottle selection worth perusing from mostly the UK and Greece.“

“Amazing place where you could spend hours just wandering around reviewing all the artefacts! Plenty of Belgian stuff but very little local (disappointingly). However, we tried the 1900 Art Cafe beer which is brewed for them by True Ale of Limassol“

“Archetypal beach front bat with mulitple TV screens and loud music. Draught offerings represented by all the usual multinational factory crap, though Paulaner & Hofbrau were good to see. Enquiries brought a bottled beer list from 'under the counter' which offered the likes of Barcelona Beer Company, Cyclades and John Martin, which was all a very welcome surprise!“

“Stumbled across (01/02/2019) this when finding Savino Rock Bar not open during the afternoon. Small bar with English owner. Would probably qualify as a Micropub in the UK! Aphrodites Rock beers in bottles“

“Visited 01/02/2019. As stated elsewhere, this place is an absolute fraud. There is no way that the beers served here are brewed by them. They weren't even in very good condition. The only saving grace was that the food was good. Move on to other places!“

“chyba najfajniejsze miejsce piwne w Larnace, glownie wygrywa klimatem. Sa krany (niekraftowe) i sporo butli (czesc kraftowych, belgia, anglia, grecja). Mozna palic. Mozna poznac ludzi. Zajebisty wlasciciel.“

“Fajnie zagracony bar (a na pieterku restauracja), z zakreconym pozytywnie wlascicielem, niezlym wyborem (jak na Larnake) piw w butelkach (glownie belgia, troche craftu). Klimatyczne miejsce z muzyka co albo sie lubi albo toczy piane (70-80). Jeden z dwoch najfajniejszych piwnych barow w Larnace. Aha - mozna jarac w srodku :)“

“This is not a brewpub. The staff admitted that they import their beers from Germany. tt is not acceptable to charge those prices and pretend the beers are your own, it’s a scam. The Asian buffet was not very impressive, either. Avoid this!“

“There is a very good collection of beers from Germany, Belgium, France, UK. Certainly, the best beer place in Larnaka. The atmosphere at the bar (ground floor) is very nice.“

“A liquor shop tucked away amidst the bars and shops in central Larnaca, in the pedestrinized part of Emou street. In addition to wine and spirits they do have some interesting beers - local and domestic craft stuff (though not too many). Prices decent, the man in charge cool. Worth visiting if in LArnaca.“

“One of the best atmospheres in Cyprus if not the best. Selection is good but heavily Belgian. Would have given it more points if it wasn’t for all the smoke. If you are a non smoker and cigarette smoke bothers you then avoid this place. Shame.“

“Looks a nice place directly on the main promenade. They have about 8 of their beers plus some others. But the prices are ridiculous - where in he world is a 275ml bottle of Becks worth 5.5€. Shame on the prices really.“

“They brew now their own stuff. On the first floor they have a Micro-Brewery standing that looks in use. The barrels standing around are all "old" barrels from other breweries, I assume they bought them 2nd hand to have it cheaper. They all had a "red-blue" stripe around - no matte which name was on. The beer is ok but a bit pricy, the food looked good, but I didn’t ate there. Nevertheless a nice place for a beer on the coast! “

“Right on the strip in Larnaca overlooking the beach and water. Right next to McDonald’s.Waiter was nice said they were out of the dark wheat but had the dark lager, then gave us a nice dunkel weizen. Food was good. They don’t brew their own, I saw kegs of Paulaner, Spaten, Hacker Pschorr, and Marston upstairs. I had a couple of rounds here and enjoyed them. They had at least 8 beers listed on draft, doubt they were all available. Not bad for a place on the coast in wine country.“

“Great ambiance, and a nice selection of belgian beers. Unfortunately they had neither any lambics nor any craftbeer. Friendly service and good music. Rock/blues. Even if they had a non smoking room in the back, the overall impression was hurt by the smoke at the bar. Excellent food in the artsy restaurant upstairs.“

“Very nice place in the heart of Larnaca. Cozy and friendly environment, with a lovely decoration. The beer list is very good on Belgian beers but almost nothing on microbrewery scale. The prices are the best you can get for a bar in Cyprus. I also had dinner there, and the food is lovely. The place to be if you are in Larnaca.“

“The name of the place and the interior design is misleading. They are not a brewery, and they do not brew their own beer. They beer they serve as their own is actually Paulaner, which is not that bad. This is a decent place for food and coffee, but not for beer.“

“For Larnaca I would say this place is too good. Good selection of Belgium beers and thats about it. The bar itself is beautifully decorated with old posters and signs. Well worth a visit if your in the area.“

“My experience there was very much enjoyed. It has been very smartly decorated, and exhibits a very pub-like atmosphere. The beer selection is noteworthy, and I just wish I could keep going back for more. There is a restaurant upstairs, but I did not eat there. Very good overall!“

“Looks for all the world like a real brewpub, with show equipment and everything. But closer inspection reveals the German styles are Paulaner, the Kriek is Belle Vue and the bottles are Floris. Nice location on the main beachfront strip is a big draw and the service isn’t bad. The prices are pretty rough, though, so be warned. There are cheaper places to eat...but there aren’t a lot of cheaper places to drink Paulaner, which is hard to come by in Cyprus. A bar a couple doors down has a few interesting bottles.“

“On the plus side, the beer was far better than expected, and all were in good condition. Even the wheat beers were impressive. Then it turns out they are Paulaner and not made here after all. I must say, for Paulaner that has traveled so far they were in good condition. The large outdoor patio is right across from the sea, which is nice. On the minus side, I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the prices. €5.50 for a small 300 ml glass of the lager and wheat and €6 for the same small size of the dark lager and dark wheat. A mass (1L) is €12.50 and €13.50, respectively. The kriek (which we think is BelleVue) is even more expensive. Just a cup of tea is €4. It makes it feel almost embarrassing to drink here. It’s too bad considering the dearth of decent beer on the island. Then I realized that the prices are similar to Paulaner outlets around the world. Singapore’s is ridiculous, so is Shanghai’s. The pieces all fall into place...“
