“15th-century inn down a cobbled lane in the day trippers’ paradise of Ledbury. There’s a small room with a bar out front with a larger area in the back. Beer-wise, they know their onions with about four cask beers (Otter x2, Ledbury and New Bristol on my visit) with a few keg and a half dozen impressive cans and bottles including Vault City and Siren. Food is cheap and good with massive portions. Wonderful fusion of the old and new.“

“This is a proper wine shop, as opposed to somewhere that just serves booze. The beer and cider choice isn’t massive - one set of shelves for cider and two for beer - but there’s a lot of local stuff that I’d not seen including some stronger beers. Other than the rateable stuff they’ve got a great selection of spirits and such including some Lebanese arak. If you’re heading to the Prince of Wales and/or spending a leisurely day in Ledbury, make sure you don’t miss here.“

“Located in the historic, old part of town. A real ale dedicated old school pub with three cozy rooms. Two rows of hand-pulled cask ales with five in each from breweries like Hobson, Eagle, Siren. and two from Ledbury at our stay. Their menu also includes quite a few craft beers in bottles and cans. Friendly service. (Visited with Finn 01.02.2020).“

“Central location, about 12 minutes walk downhill from the train station. A micropub with two small rooms promoting a relaxing, local feel. Three cask ales from gravity and a few beers on keg. Decent service. (Visited with Finn 01.02.2020).“

“Called into this 2018 Good Beer Guide pub yesterday and found a friendly traditional pub with selection of real ales, and also real cider available too. Extensive range of foreign beers too. We chose and enjoyed Ledbury Dark and Wander Beyond Mini Milkshake IPA. Also available Wye Valley Butty Bach, Wells Eagle and another I forgot to note.“

“Called in this timber framed coaching inn yesterday and found a friendly bar serving 3 real ales. Fullers London Pride, Ledbury Bitter and Swan Gold. We hose the Swan Gold which was fine. There is a function room which used to be a theatre, and a formal restaurant as well as a bistro style one. Also has a large walled garden and patio.“

“Enjoyed our visit to this 2018 Good Beer Guide pub yesterday. It is a lovely black and white half timbered hotel with a central bar facing the fireplace, with comfy seating areas and nooks and crannies around the bar area. Friendly staff and locals (including dogs). Wadworth pub with their IPA, 6X, and Dirty Rucker on plus Wye Valley Butty Bach.“

“Really enjoyed our visit to this micro-pub which is in the 2018 Good Beer Guide. There was a corner bar with 2 real ales being served direct from the cask and we enjoyed both the Ledbury Dr Rudi's Extra Pale and the Ludlow Stairway. Unobtrusive background music was playng. There are two rooms, a few tables and chairs in the front one with seating round the bar, and the rear room has a sofa.“

“Nice little cider shop on the main drag owned by ace cider producers Once Upon A Tree. Most regional producers are represented with some on draft which they can fill a bottle with. This has possibly the most extensive range of cider in the region so any cider-heads should definitely have it on their visit list.“

“We visited here on Saturday 31st October 2015, we being me, Loz and Jude. This place is further along the High Street from Hay Wines in fact at this point I think it’s called summat’ else Home End or some such name on the address as I recall. It’s a small shop, with 2-3 in here it starts to look busy. There is a counter at the rear behind which is a chalkboard displaying what ciders are on draft. There is a little island in the middle with a selection of bottles that you can try small samples of (you can also ask for samples of the draft cider, we did). The selection is well chosen with an emphasis on local (the three counties name gives a clue) but even though they are only choosing locally they have only sought out the better and more interesting producers. Once Upon a Tree (Dragon Orchard) run this shop and pretty much their whole range is available though whilst I saw the Ice Perry I didn’t see the Ice Cider. On the RH side is some local produce such as honey, mustards etc. I like this shop, yes it’s small but the selection is pretty big. Btw I guessed at 80-100 so don’t take that as a given. For those who are infirm or in a wheelchair just note access is via a couple of steps and is unsuitable for wheelchairs, a lady in a wheelchair was outside whilst we were there and they were taking gift packs etc out to her to show her what they do. I picked up eight new ciders and one old favourite spending about £30“

“We visited here on Saturday 31st October 2015, we being me, Loz and Jude. This is a great little off licence situated on the High Street. The front of the store is mostly wines and spirits, I didn’t really look at these but I am guessing that the selection would have been good just going by the window display, Jude selected a Japanese whisky for Baz. The counter is also on the LH side as you enter. The shop narrows towards the rear and here it is mainly beer and cider, all local stuff on the LH shelving so Wye Valley, Teme Valley, Hobsons and then of course ciders. On the RH side at the rear is a much smaller selection of mostly continental beers with Orval, Rochefort amongst. Unlike Garrold I didn’t see any Beavertown, Kernel, Thornbridge etc so I think that they may have trimmed their range down somewhat. It is still worthy of a visit and good to combine this with the Cider shop a short walk away.“

“We visited here on Saturday 31st October 2015, we being me, Loz and Jude. A lovely traditional little black and white pub up a little pebbled lane (Church Lane) in the centre of Ledbury. As you enter the bar is off to the LH side, it’s a lovely little small room old blackened and dark wood everywhere, supporting beams and struts the latter along with a bar facing settle sort of separates this from a further small seating area. I understand that this pub was a previous Herefordshire pub of the year winner a couple of years back and I can see why, it’s a very good pub. I had the local Ledbury Dark which was in great condition, however I could have chosen from Hobsons, Wye Valley or Sarah Hughes and more, and not forgetting the Cider list with Westons and Robinsons on draft and Olivers and Dunkertons in bottle. The room at the rear was even larger though I only noticed this as we got up to leave and never actually ventured in there. It was a popular place and deservedly so, a great little find in a very nice little town.“

“Wine shop with a pretty decent bottled beer and cider selection. Lots of local beer. Local cider, too. Other British brewers include Beavertown, Buxton, Moor, Kernel and Thornbridge. Belgian beers include Rochefort 6, 8 and 10. American stuff like Bear Republic, Brooklyn and Odell. Nicely set out shop, friendly owners and good prices. Some of the beers also have their Ratebeer scores displayed on the shelf edges too! Well worth a visit.“
