| 42 /100 5394 WILLIAMS ROAD “UPDATED!! Westbend is under new ownership, with all new equipment and building. I will say that the new owners are very nice, cool people. However, Beer is very inconsistent, and definitely not very good. Under the old regime they made a chocolate stout that would rival the highly acclaimed Foothills Sexual Chocolate. The current lineup is a pathetic comparison. Likewise the new building is sterile and bland. The old building had character and charm that was unrivaled. Sadly now it is gone. A very bad choice on the owners part. Service is ultra slow, with no personality. More like a funeral parlor than a brewery. I have spoke to many former patrons who feel the same way. We miss the old Westbend. They seem to not be taking their beer seriously. Which is Sad, sad, sad.“ |
