70 /100 Full Moon (Bar) HARE LANE Visited for lunch on Saturday 27/10/28.
Traditional village local with 2 rooms, L-shaped around the bar, the room we sat in had an open fire and wood beams, the other larger room not quite as old and more intended for dining.
4 cask beers on my visit and it looks like Pride and Rebellion IPA are regulars with guests on this occasion from Wainwrights and a Tim Taylor seasonal which was in good condition.
The place was pretty busy and having failed to bag a table on the day in the past, I'd recommend booking if you want to eat.
On that front the food was excellent with a good choice from bar snacks to sandwiches, a handsome looking ploughmans and various mains. Prompt and friendly table service was offered despite us sitting in the bar area.
No go to beer destination but a solid country pub with hearty food and the chance of a tick.
They also stage a summer beer festival which I plan to attend next year.
