“On the main road so hard to miss, there's a car park just opposite its entrance on the smaller road at its side. In a lovely stone building that's probably been extended over the years, the pub is somewhat of a maze of rooms on the inside, with the first room on the right a period splendour with an old fireplace. There is a small bar here with a limited selection, but keep going around the pub to find the main bar area with three cask pumps from the Robinsons range, including their latest special ale on my visit. Its main focus is clearly on selling pub meals in a very traditional pub atmosphere, and you can do this outside if the weather allows. Less than half a dozen people in here on a Friday afternoon when I visited.“

“A hundred metres off the main road where the Victoria Inn is, in fact if there wasn't a sign for it you might miss it completely as it just looks like a large house. Its large front garden does have picnic tables on the grass, and chairs on its split level patio area out front, with a the pub itself a single front facing ground floor room, with a much more modern look on the inside than expected. It's quite airy on the inside given its large glass windows and patio doors. The rotund bar in the corner has a couple of real ales available alongside some ordinary macro beers, but nothing new on show for me here. It's a pleasant laid back setting though.“

“Large rangy ex coaching house on the main road through Llanbedr, next to The River Artro, a wonderful part of Wales. Very busy due to its position, lots of Sunday Dinners being served on my visit. Just a few beers from Robinsons Brewery but does include their latest seasonal. I was pleased to get myself together before my next leg of a cycle ride through the Welsh hills that run along the coast.“

“Country hotel in its own grounds just on the edge of the busy village of Llanbedr, down a country lane. Lots of seating outside within the garden area or patio, not so large in the hotel bar. The beers are from around the UK, nothing really out of the ordinary but a visitor from afar may pick up something. Friendly Landlord, dog friendly. It’s a pleasant place to go or stay.“

“Very nice rural hotel bar. Good selection of ales and one low priced one from the landlord. It was Ushers 1824 for £1.99 when I called. Recommended.“
