| 52 /100 ABERSOCH ROAD, “Sitting below the main road junction in the town, it's car park is accessed at this point and its roof is pretty much at this level too. You have to walk around the pub to get in as its front faces away from the road. It has an extensive garden area out front, most of which has been developed into a covered wooden seating area, and below this a thoughtful children's play area. This is very much a food pub, with an extensive dining area set up to the left hand side of the pub after you enter through its central doors. The bar is immediately in front of you after you enter, and includes a limited selection of cask ales from the Robinsons brewery - just 3 regulars on my visit. This area and to the right is the more traditional pub drinking area of what is a pleasantly atmospheric inn.“ |
