| 74 /100 128 BASSETT TRAIL “Visited here in early April '21 after a ling hike in the Ouachita National Forest. Located down a one-lane dirt road out in the middle of nowhere - but don't let that deter you. The place itself is two shipping containers turned into buildings with a few seats indoors and a few picnic tables out back. Have about a half dozen or so of their own on tap along with some hard waters that they brew and they serve mixed drinks as well. Menu consists of sausages from a local butcher and the German sausage I had was rather tasty. Beers could use a little bit of refinement, however the Dick's IPA was spot on. Running joke there....when the keg runs out, they all say "we blew Dicks again". Friendly locals as well as the brewer. If in the Hot Springs area, stop on by.“ |
