“Nice find on the high street. Not a huge selection of bottles but some rarely seen breweries available. Mostly Scottish with some standard big name lagers.“

“Small bar with 6 casks available - mostly local to Linlithgow. Offers flights which is nice.“

“Quite busy when visited on a Saturday. 8 casks available though nothing too unusual.“

“Small bar next to the station. Not a great selection (3 cask, some forgettable kegs) but what they had was well kept.“

“A nice pub, also a hotel, close to the station at the end of the High Street. There’s a comfortable, modern and quite elegant lounge bar with a chimney breast made from huge chunks of stone plus several other areas including a restaurant, a small sitting room and a patio. The Krafty brewery is in a yard to the side and the friendly bar maid told us that they usually have one of their own beers on at the bar. When we visited it was the Star and Garter St Mich and there were also three Alechemy casks. (Visited 31 January 2017).“

“Visited on 28th October 2016. Hotel, bar, restaurant and home to Krafty Brew, this place has a lot going on! It’s next to the station at Linlithgow, it’s a bit of a maze to get to the bar, but it’s worth it. A nice space with locals performing out of tune karaoke in one corner but plenty of space to relax in. Had 2 beers from the Star and Garter brewery (A brand from Krafty Brew) which the staff pointed out to us and also offered to find a pump clip as I was taking photos of the beer. Also a couple of other guests on tap. Prices were decent. Condition of beer good. Another decent spot next to the station and one I’d pop back into.“

“Visited on 28th October 2016. Small, single roomed venue next to the station. Has a model railway running around the the bar up high. Place was busy and warm, locals were friendly too. 3 handpulls, 2 had Cairngorms beers on, the Black Gold was on top form, decently priced and served with a smile. Nice little bar and somewhere I’d go back to.“

“Located next to Platform 3 pub outside Linlithgow Railway Station the hotel is a landmark at the top end of the High St. A modern feel following a refurbishment a few years ago. Hotel rooms upstairs, a beer garden, cafe at the rear and bar and restaurant. A good selection of real ales and the pub has recently set up its own micro Brewey.“

“Located a few yards from Linlithgow Railway Station hence the name and formerly the public bar of the hotel next door. Popular with locals and tourists. Real Ale on hand pump (usually Scottish) and keg taps also. Small bar which can get very busy. A model train travels down the pub from above the bar at periodic intervals. Friendly welcome and usually a great atmosphere.“

“A tradittional Belhaven linked bar which stages an annual real ale festival. 8 common real ales on tap (mainly Belhaven / Green King) plus a few guests. Standard pub grub of decent quality. Nice place for cask beer lovers but lacking new interesting beers. “

“A lovely ambient pub on the High St of the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow. The food was great though could have been a little keener. The beer selection was solid but was unlucky in timing as the beers that were coming soon were much more interesting - perhaps a little too tied to Belhaven.“
