68 /100 13C CORNMARKET Small micro pub and brewery / distillery off the main market place in louth. When I visited they had 4 of their own beers on and another from a local louth brewery. Reasonable prices. Apparently they are going to open a bottle shop soon. |
70 /100 Woolpack Inn (Batemans) (Bar) 14 RIVERHEAD ROAD Cosy traditional pub with a "village pub" feel. Good range of local beers with Batemans and Newby Wyke on taps. OK selection of bottled ales and ciders, nice selection of gins. They usually have one premium cider on draught as well, in this case Old Rosie. Decent sized car park with small beer garden. Food was nice, but portions were a bit small. Helpful and attractive staff. Price wise food and drinks are on par with anywhere else in the area. If I was down here more often this could become my local. |
74 /100 UNIT 13, THAMES STREET This is the Tap Room for the Firehouse Brewery. The bar has a real old feel, enhanced by the gas lighting. the small bar has big bench seating and a cozy fire. It’s a bit in the middle of nowhere, in an old warehouse, slightly outside the town centre. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. |
