76 /100 14277 NORTH MACKINAW HIGHWAY Randomly saw their sign on US-31 so I swung by. Busy on July 4th but most people were outside and I easily found a seat at the bar. Tried three beers, all good but not great. Good enough that I got four crowlers to go. Comfortable inside. Friendly and helpful staff. Food truck outside with no sign of in house food, so I assume that's a COVID change. Overall worth a stop. |
68 /100 810 S HURON AVE Nice place in a busy tourist town. They have a restaurant and food, but we just stopped in to try the beer. We ordered a flight which came in a muffin tin. Pretty decent selection. The beers we tried were all decent, but nothing outstanding. Worth a stop if you are passing through town. Friendly staff. Family friendly but no longer dog friendly (due to a city ordinance we were told) |
80 /100 810 S HURON AVE Nice place for a quick lunch and to try some unusual beers. Family and dog friendly. |
84 /100 14277 NORTH MACKINAW HIGHWAY Must stop when in the area...arrived about 15 mins before opening on a weekday for lunch. The food is "really" good...loved the meat and cheese board. The décor is very nicely done. Although I liked the beers I was disappointed there were only 6 the day I visited. I most enjoyed the Gose, the Uuuge Belgium IPA, and the Fear Belgium Quad. This is a must stop when passing thru...and definitely sample the food. |
84 /100 14277 NORTH MACKINAW HIGHWAY New place just south of the I-75 exit. Nice space in the remodeled building. Solid lineup of brews and good food. |
84 /100 14277 NORTH MACKINAW HIGHWAY Just south of Mackinaw city in an inconspicuous building that appears to have previously been a restaurant and remodeled. Small bar as you first enter with a large dining area and a dozen or so tables, brewing equipment can be seen through glass windows, lot’s of natural light. Very relaxed feel. Food was a bit pricey but was quite delicious especially compared to other local eateries. Around 10 beers on tap with the regulars and a few more unique offerings. Would definitely recommend a stop here if you get the chance. |
72 /100 O’Reilly’s Irish Pub (Bar) 106 LANGLADE STREET Why is this place worthy for ratebeer? Cuz I used to spend more than enough St Paddy’s Days drinkin’ it up with the locals with Guinness and Two Hearted and a fair amount of other Michigan beers. For pub styled food, you won’t find anything better for a good 40 mile radius. Decent value for the Mackinaw area. Always kept pretty clean. |
72 /100 Nonna Lisa’s (Restaurant) 312 SOUTH HURON AVENUE Why am I adding this fantastic Italian restaurant to the list of Michigan places in the Northern lower peninsula. Michigan raterbeerians need to wake up, damn guys, are you falling asleep out there in the Midwest. Never bad service here, always immaculately clean. Food never misses a beat. Value is reasonable for the area. Two Hearted always on tap. |
100 /100 Mackinac Island Brew House (Beer Store) 312 N HURON ST It is located on the street side of Nona Lisa’s and next to Build Your Bear. It isn’t easy to see from the street. But worth finding! Their display is fantastic and the bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a blast! |
90 /100 Mackinac Island Brew House (Beer Store) 312 N HURON ST For my money, nothing better within 100 miles. I stopped at a place in Midland that was as good but if I was going here, This is my place. |
