“visited: 6-28-12 A: Nice old style building with lots of windows on the front for plenty of natural light. Very inviting. Q: I had sampled 3 beers and ordered 2 different ones and wasnt impressed by any of them. I sampled the Summer of Gold, Blueberry Wheat, and the Red...all were very average (at best) and ordered the Saison (yeast bomb) and the Mountaineer Pale (which was very grainy with almost no hop character). S: The bartender and staff were very personable, attentive and friendly. S: They had 9 in-house taps to choose from and 2 in-house pops (root beer and birch beer). The variety was appropriate for the summer months and very spread out amongst the different styles. F: I had the chicken ceaser salad and it was decent enough but have had better (and worse). V: Two Pints and the salad came to $17 bucks, fair and reasonable. Overall, a nice place to visit but the beer quality just isnt enough to draw me back in. I can appreciate the fact that they use locally grown products but you need to have some decent quality products to add into the mix.“

“We stopped here on a trip up to NY. We were served promptly and only had a sampler of beer. Unfortunately we really did not have a good experience with the beer. Probably would not come back if I was in this area again.“

“A solid brewpub in the small town of Mansfield, PA. It is a small brewpub with the feel of a cafe (at least at brunch on a Sunday morning). They had around 7-8 taps, including some pretty interesting beers such as a sour summer ale (a Berliner weisse/summer ale blend), a beer made with mint leaves, pumpkin ale, and a tasty fresh hopped ale. Most are lower abv. All the beers ranged from good to excellent. Brunch food was decent (I had an omelet, which was good; however the waiter forgot my hash browns and didn’t bring any butter for my toast. But those are minor points). A great stop, and worth it for the beer.“

“As far as the food and ambiance is concerned I agree with the previous reviews. I had the triple which was served In a pint glass and was stout black. I home brew, been to Belgium and drink a lot of beer and this was no triple. Had the red rye next again color was black not a hint of red unbalanced very astringent. I didn’t have one but thought it was amusing they had a " black IPA" coming in at a whopping 4.2% abv. Overall the food seemed to spotlight this pub. Had a great veggie grilled cheese. Typical U.S. brewpub atmosphere, very clean. Drinkable beer could work on their brew descriptions.“

“Nice local place. Long bar with seating in a big open area. Old brick walls all around. Had a nice burger made with local grown beef. Service was quick and friendly.“

“What a fantastic surprise this place turned out to be. They’ve only been open 4 months, and they’re already the best restaurant in Mansfield. Admittedly that’s not a big brag, but this place is a real winner. Mansfield is blessed with some nice old buildings on their main strip and this one’’s been restored to former glory. Lots of polished wood and exposed brick walls. They also found in their renovations some nice brick archwork which frames the place nicely. They have the typical number of drafts (6) that you’d expect to find at a brewpub. I thought all of their beers were quite flavorful and with none being over 6% they won’t get you into to much trouble. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. A big reason for that is their insistence on using local beef and the buns were made from the spent grain of the beer. I will definitely stop by this place again. I hope they stick around for a long, long time.“
