“I parked on the other side of the tracks. Small outdoor area out front, go up the exterior stairs to enter this place. Pretty good size bar on the left. Busy on a Sunday afternoon. Four-packs of cans in the pack left with thirty or forty different beers they will not break up the four-packs. They have some single bottles on the center right, but I could not get to them because the place was so busy. Their selection listed online on draft did not quite match what they actually had. Bar tenders were attentive. Might be worth a look.“

“In the same stripmall as Carolina Beer Temple so you can park at either place. Directly across the street from Seaboard Brewing. Looks pretty much the same as the other two locations, and this one als has a covered patio out from with a good view of the parking lot, the traffic, and the pedestrians playing Frogger. Service if OK. Beer list seems slightly smaller than the one near my house but could have been just the day I visited. Mass produce American style pizza. Lunch buffet is good value but maybe not the best pizza.“

“Large place next to the railroad tracks and across the street from Carolina Beer Temple. Park at the Temple or in the small lot next door to Seaboard that fills quickly. Inside is a large central bar, restaurant tables in the front, long bar tables in the back, and a 10 barrel brewhouse behind glass in the far back. There is also a nice uncovered patio out front. A dozen of their own beers on tap, decent enough and with some variety. A dozen guest taps also, mostly high ABV stuff from larger craft breweries here and in California. Food is just small snacks, but did include tinned mackerel and sardines from Portugal - you don't see that often in Charlotte. They also have a deal with the pizzeria next door, but they don't open til 5, so I was SOL at lunchtime. Solid service. A decent stop if you are in Matthews anyway.“

“Fast food style BBQ place on the main drag just a few steps from Carolina Beer Temple. Parking is annoying, but is better near Moe’s than near the temple. There are a few patio tables, and inside there’s a bar on the right and restaurant tables. A dozen beers on tap, almost all local with a handful of seasonals, not just flagships. Barbecue was OK, best part was the sides. Efficient service but I didn’t check their beer knowledge. OK if you’re at the temple and need a bite.“
