98 /100 Cuerno de Toro Taproom (Bar) C. 64 461, PARQUE SANTA LUCIA, CENTRO This place had, by far, the best craft beers I tried in Merida and I tried as many different Yucatecan breweries as I could.
I stopped by twice and they had 9 or 10 drafts each time, multiple IPAs (including a mango milkshake, a guava, and a cannabis), a stout, a pilsner, and a red ale. All very high quality and superior to most of the other local beers I tried.
The taproom is a cool space and in a great location, close to Parque de Santa Lucia and Plaza Grande. The brewer and the staff are super friendly. They have food too, but I didn't get to try it.
There's not really a better place in Merida for craft beer. Hop 3 The Beer Experience is a good spot too, but it's in a trend mall. This is place is more chill. |
64 /100 500 Noches Santa Lucia (Bar) CALLE 60 469-479 A pleasant spot with an outdoor patio on Santa Lucía Square, with live music, decent food and the best selection of beer I’ve had in Mexico, they have all the usual culprits with a good selection of local craft beers. |
