“Jam packed on a Saturday afternoon. Selection here is large, but they seem to have more or less the same range that the convenience stores have, at slightly better prices. Food selection is above average, so there are plenty of interesting things for pairing.“

“Big place, and the most touristy that I visited. There's a large kids' playground near the parking area, a sign enticing you to walk through the orchard, and lots of picnic tables scattered about. In the main building there are two large rooms with ciders for sale as well as other products mostly made from apples. There is also a counter for selling pies and baked goods. Walk past all that and there is a creperie that has a nice wrap-around deck with a great view of the entire valley with its hills and orchards. The ciders were tasty enough, the crepes were just OK. Interesting place.“

“Visited on a Saturday at lunchtime (May 2nd 2015).

Ambiance: The vibe of the boutique here is more commercial and "grand public" than in most other cideries I visited. The Crêperie decor in the old wooden barn is really nice though.

Service: The poor old lady at the cashier of the boutique was friendly but wasn’t able to answer any questions about the products (apples varieties, production method, etc.). The service at the Crêperie was friendly as well.

Selection: Two ice ciders (1 regular, 1 sparking) and a bunch of ciders are available to go and at the Crêperie (everything at the Crêperie is available by the glass except the sparkling Ice Cider). Two regular cider were available for free tasting.

Food: The ham and cheese pancake was good, but the dessert pancake (apples, pears, blueberry) was just ok.

Value: Prices for the pancakes are good. Prices for the ciders/ice ciders are in line with what others. If you buy a bunch of bottles (6+ or 12+) you can get a rebate.

Overall: I might go back to the Crêperie if I’m in the area but I wouldn’t visit for the bottles to go as most are available at SAQ stores for a similar price.

“Visited on a Saturday just after opening (around 10:45 a.m.).

Ambiance: Small tasting room / boutique with a one table (2 places) to sit just beside the only barrel of batch #2 Cryo de Glace Prestige Fût de Chêne. We can also see the tanks and the bottling space through a window.

Service: The lady who welcomed us was really friendly and took the time to discuss about the products, serve us free flights and show pictures of the orchard during the winter harvest. I also spoke with the owner / cider maker on the phone earlier that week to update the info about a few products in ratebeer database and place an order; he was so passionate about the ice cider that he makes that I decided to make a detour to visit them on my way south.

Selection: The bottles available to go when I visited where Mi-Cryo, Mousseux, de Glace, de Glace Prestige, de Glace Tête de Cuvée (3 vintages available: 2008, 2010, 2012). All were available for free tasting in small flights.

Food: n/a

Value: The small flights were free. Prices for the other products are in line with other ice ciders. The Mousseux is a bit more pricey than most sparking cider on the market but it also seems to be one of the best.

Overall: Definitely a place to visit, especially since their products aren’t distributed through the SAQ stores. Everything I tried there was really tasty and the vibe of the place is really good. I will be back.
