62 /100 Red Lion (JDW) (Bar) 49 SWAY ROAD Located in Morriston a suburb to Swansea, we used bus no. X50 from the bus station in Swansea to get here, about 15 minutes ride. A medium-sized spoons offering ten cask ales, half of them regionally sourced. Patio outside. Polite service and decent breakfast as usual. (Visited with Finn 02.10.2018). |
62 /100 Red Lion (JDW) (Bar) 49 SWAY ROAD Village pub. Looks small from outside but is quite large inside. Normal spoons beerwise. 10 casks. 20 kegs. |
50 /100 Red Lion (JDW) (Bar) 49 SWAY ROAD A ’spoons that is like a real pub, problem is the service was pretty tardy even though it was pretty quiet. Beer was in average condition. Bonus is it has a car park and there is plenty of street parking outside. |
72 /100 Red Lion (JDW) (Bar) 49 SWAY ROAD In its own building on the main road into the city, it’s close to the Motorway junction so handy if you passing Swansea but don’t want to go anywhere close to the city centre. The pub has parking too which is well used at peak hours. It’s a traditionally decorated Spoon but well thought out with several different area to take your fancy and very comfortable throughout. Ales are available on two rows of pumps at the bar. There’s a bus stop right outside if you are thinking of coming here from the city. Generally a quiet drinking affair. |
