“Located in The Marketplace. Small tap room with a view to the brewery. Located in a small area that has several food options to order from and enjoy with the beer. Munchies BBQ next door was very good. The beer was decent but nothing out of the ordinary.“

“So we took the backroads from #ORL to #TLH looking for a late lunch and an intentional stop at a brewpub that was off the beaten path. Food was tasty, beer was bush league. All the beer is homebrewy and twangy. The Cuban sandwich and fries that I got for lunch were pretty tasty. Restaurant is perfunctory and austere.“

“So no one has been here in years but all other options closed the day I was passing by so see if they’ve improved. After day of kayaking swung by for a flight. Didn’t realize but the flight is 3 house beers and then the other 3 are just blends of those three, reading prior reviews this has been going on forever. Beers quite poor weak homebrew level, not sure why they haven’t tried to up game at any point. Kitchen decor and looks like lots of live music. I could probably have fun here drinking the funky Buddha guest tap. Food menu was run of the mill.“

“Mt. Dora is a fun location, and Maggie’s Attic always seems to have good music for their events. They have a bigger wine presence, but still a good selection of craft beer. Love the beer tasting events. (The wine events are better since the tasting areas are in a variety of neighboring stores.) Owners and staff are always helpful and friendly.“

“Quaint place in Mount Dora. Has an antique feel with outdoor seating in the back. They have only three of their own beers and offer blends of those three beers. I ordered the red- and was served an infected beer. The porter was drinkable but nothing special. Prices are less than $5/pint, but why bother?“

“Great Food, and the beer is ok. Always a little flat and sometimes the lines are not cleaned. When they are its good beer. just not a lot of selection and the local brew seems a little bland for my personal taste.“

“The food next door was the saving grace here. The owner of the brewery is over confident for how twangy his beers are. He was rude with me and we will not be back.“

“Though the beer is nothing special the place itself is a pretty cool little hangout spot. They have live music a few nights per month and have a nice outdoor area with plenty of seating. Service is friendly and prompt. They now make their own food and have a menu but I didn’t order anything from it. The owner of the place was there and I talked to him for a little bit; he’s a likeable, laidback guy. Overall this is a pleasant place that I would frequent if I lived in the area. If the beer was better I’d be willing to make the hour drive more often.“

“This is a beautiful place, in a turn of the century saw mill, including the decor, the frontier town look, 4 round tables like a saloon, and a few stools at the bar, a caterer next door serving food from 6PM till 9OM. Beers are unfortunately subpar and solventy....is it the water? This good be a great place. The patio behing is quite big and beautiful....Sampler is 6 X 5 on for 6$.“

“If you like a wide selection of great beers and wines as well as excellent food (best burgers ever) you need to go to the Frog and Monkey Resturant and Pub. If you have a more elegant palate try the Maginot Line, just one of many great dished. My husband and I frequent this place as often as we can and are never disappointed.“

“Pretty good place in downtown Mount Dora. 30-35 bottles, 6 or 7 drafts, some pretty good choices too. Nothing crazy but enough there to satisfy the craft beer enthusiast. I was pleasanty surprised. Nice atmosphere, decent food and prices seemed about right. Went on a Friday night and they had some live music as well. We had a good time.“

“I heard about this place a while ago and I have finally visited it.This was interesting you can buy your beer or wine here and drink it here also. The selection was average, they had everything that I could get in Orlando. No one said hi to us when were there or offered any assistance. Its nice to stop in if you are visiting Mt Dora but not worth the drive.“

“Visited here while on vacation. For where it is, it is definitely a nice place to buy some craft beer. Quaint store in a quaint little town, but really, the wine selection far outweighed the beer...So stop in if you have no where else to buy beer, but otherwise, there are certainly better choices out there.“

“Re-Rate: Fun place with a cool vibe. This has sort of become my go to local bar. Located in the heart of Mt Dora, it’s listed here as a beer store but doubles as a bar, and I’d probably treat it more as a bar. The prices certainly are bar prices. I do wish they’d price bottles reasonably and then charge a buck or two per bottle as an opening charge if you wanted to drink on site. I just can’t justify buying a six pack that normally costs $8-$12 elsewhere for $20-$24. They have two rotating draft options, plenty of wine, and some of the beer bottles are kept cold. The beer selection is pretty good and clearly the best in town not named Mermaid Juice. The staff is very friendly. They’ve got beer and wine tastings every month I’d recommend going to. Original comments: Interesting place and concept in a neat little touristy town. Essentially two shops, one is a craft and gift type shop and in The Cellar there’s a wine and beer specialty shop. All beer is sold as singles. Pretty nice selection too, nothing you can’t get in Orlando, but solid for the area. Around 200 bottles. Prices are high but that’s probably standard for the town. The interesting part is it’s a beer store/bar... they sell it to go or you can have a cold one there. Relatively small but it’s a nice break from the norm.“

“i love this place! such nice people who work there, always greet me and my wife with the nicest attitude. always helpful and knowledgeable, and they always have a nice selection and something for everyone (wine and beer), from gift sets to microbrew sets, wine accessories, and furnishings. their selection rotates pretty frequent. they always have a good selection of seasonals for every season, and the prices are in the range of having a good time. the free roaming atmosphere gives this place more taste than any bar or pub you would visit in most other areas. from pat and dawn, we’ll see you guys soon!!! bring on the dogfish! wooooo!“

“Cute little beer and wine bar in a funky little town. Prices are much higher than normal, but you are in the middle of a tourist town. Jerome and his family are great people that run this place and it has a relaxed feel to it.“

“A small wine store in a small "quaint" touristy town. They only have singles here, which is annoying. They have some 22 ouncers as well. The beer is OVERPRICED. I only go here because it is the only source for decent microbrew bottled beer near my house. And I’ve seen no evidence of beer knowledge, any of the times I’ve gone. JBro’s rating smells fishy to me.“
