“Called in while on a walk and enjoyed Harbour Antipodean IPA and Skinners Lushingtons. Food menu interesting but a bit pricey but this is a hotel. Lovely setting with steps into the hotel bar area then down into an amazing big garden with fantastic view. Another 2 local beers available.“

“A sturdy stone-brick pub overlooking the small harbour in the picture-postcard hillside village of Mousehole. Penzance is not too far away but this place is more ’pirate’, especially if you arrive here on a foggy day and the pub would certainly be the drinking den perched on top of the harbour walls. The interior doesn’t disappoint, with the exposed walls providing an olde world atmosphere complimented by mainly wooden fixtures and fittings. St Austell ales are the order of the day here as you might expect. Visited in 2011.“

“Pleasant enough local pub that’s welcoming to visitors. About four real ales on.“

“A nice St Austell pub in the charming fishing village of Mousehole (pronounced Mowzel). It’s not worth the drive to come here for the beer but it’s a very good place for refreshment after a wander around the lovely Mousehole. Beers were in good condition and the service quick and friendly. You can stay here if you want. It’s a dark and cosy pub which clearly is very much a local but welcoming visitors.“
