“This is quite a compact Brewpub in the Southend district of Mumbles, close to the sandy beach. It has the great benefit of being the only decent pub open in town of a midweek lunch-time and is busy, not sure why nowhere else believes it's worthwhile opening. It is friendly and welcoming, the bar is directly in front as you enter with seating to the fore and rear of the building. Home to the Pilot Brewery, sister brewery to Beer Riff across the bay, which is situated in a small room to the rear, not in operation on my visit. They had 5 cask ales and a few kegs while I was there. A must visit whilst in the area.“

“I really enjoyed this busy brewpub in the small town of Mumbles. A decent range of there own beers to try & a few from there sister brewery Beer Riff in Swansea. The lady behind the bar was friendly & helpful in giving advice on where was good to eat nearby.“

“A cozy, classic British pub with a rater small L-shaped pub room, brown interiors of wood, brick and stone. Maritime decorations and photos on the walls. The servery is located close to the entrance, and the beer menu can be read on a board to the rear of the bar. Four of their own beers available, brewed on the premises. Welcome and friendly service. Relaxing, no music and with a laidback local feel. Its located close to Mumbles Bay, and we came here after a trip to the pier. (Visited with Finn 04.10.2018).“

“2018-03-01. Lovely space, with five or six casks available including their own, the draft taps are mostly mainstream options with a couple of interesting ones. Relatively small space. Nice stained glass over the bar, views out over the water. No food available other than some free welsh cakes for St David's day - which were actually a nice touch! Unfortunately we were driving and I was super hungry otherwise we would have stayed for a few more drinks. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Smart pub, bright and breezy inside with a very modern wooden decor and furniture. It’s in a lovely location facing the sea and promenade and has a balcony perfect for a sunny day. Its menu has plenty, although the design smacks of chain food and Brains ales are served at the bar. A favourite for familes and has a few parking spaces outside.“
