“Walked in at 1 p.m. on the Tuesday after Christmas and the place was jammed -- and this is a big place. Our foursome found a table and encountered the scourge of our era, QR code-only menus and ordering. The app was unusually clunky and didn't tell us if the beers we ordered were no longer available. That happened only when other drinks were brought to the table and we asked for the missing one. ("Oh yeah, we're out of that.") There remains a very wide selection of beers available and the Eagle Park distillery is creating lots of alternatives for the non-beer drinkers who visit. We thought the stressed-out servers were as polite and helpful as could be expected. We'll have to try this place a few more times to see if it's always this exasperating.“

“Eagle Park, the city place, moves full bore out to the suburbs. About a mile south of Hwy 43, somewhat confusing to the GPS in the back of an industrial park behind a Wal-Mart. Big open facility with a loft space and 2 back rooms as they designed for potential parties. Outdoor "patio" space in the summer is close-to-the-building parking in the winter, although good sized and the patio tables have umbrellas. Not a lot of personality to the building - a bunch of different sized tables and a 15 person bar space. Some TVs. A solid kitchen with a number of options, most pretty tasty. 25 or so taps, across a range of styles, but leaning heavily into the hazy IPA/smoothie sour/light lagers/seltzers for the macro crossover drinkers. There always seems to be some hoppy brews and imperial stouts for the craft beer folks. The quality is good across the board with occasional hiccups. They also have a distillery now open and will mix drinks. The staff is knowledgeable enough, although also leans toward the not-too-helpful unless directly asked. Can sit at the bar for a bit, on occasion, without being served. Prices are individually set for full or half pours, or they will pour from cans which show up on the menu at times I've not yet determined. This is a big generic place which does a good job of hitting a lot of buttons - family centric, macro lovers, craft beer folks, parties, those interested in food, mixed drinkers, etc ....“
