56 /100 Mateni Liquor (Beer Store) WESTFIELD CENTRAL BUILDING, LEGALEGA LN Visited 2/11/2022. Just a few minutes walk from airport. Pretty standard Fiji beer options (available in large and standard bottles) at very cheap prices. Nicely laid out store but again behind glass with a serving hatch. Friendly service. |
66 /100 PALM TREE ROAD, WAILOALOA Visited 29/10/2022. Stood outside but sadly they were closed. Took photos then went to the Victoria Wines opposite and got their beer draught take-out. Unquestionably the brewers of the best beers in Fiji. |
68 /100 Victoria Wines Wailoaloa (Beer Store) 41 WASAWASA ROAD, WAILOALOA Visited 29/10/2022. This place is opposite the Reef Brewing Co brewery and has their lager and pale on tap for take out. Tasters offered before purchase. Other than that, the basic Fiji Bitter/Gold/Vonu plus some Aussie ciders. And of course wine and spirits. Friendly helpful service. It was a shame the brewery was closed (it’s Saturday) but definitely a great spot to get their beers at very reasonable prices. Very friendly service. |
52 /100 Thirsty Liquor Namotomoto (Beer Store) ENAMANU ROAD Visited 28/10/2022. This is one of a chain of Thirsty Liquor venues around the island. Has standard Paradise beers plus the Vonu low carb and a smattering of import stuff the highlight of which was Sri Lanka’s Lion Extra Strong 12% which made it worth the visit. Everything is locked away behind protected glass with a serving hatch. Really quite sketchy place/area to have visited at night, glad I was with the taxi driver. |
