“Small brewery and taproom / restaurant in central Nanjing. The place is OK, medium in attractiveness. Not much happening when I visited. My group was made of Chinese, so they ordered. The hefeweizen I ordered was quite OK. Food was OK too. Overall, a place to possibly return!“

“Pretty OK craft beer bar in Nanjing, China. The bar is not on Google Maps, and even Bing Maps is not able to provide the exact address. But I (my Chinese guests) found it. Ambiance is relaxed, chill. Bar downstairs, tables upstairs. Unfortunately, the bartender (a young guy) couldn't understand a single word of English. The owner, who came in later, didn't seem to be interested in helping either. Beer names are written in Chinese characters, even US beers. It was a nightmare to identify one of them for review here. On the flipside, they had a "special" in the days of my visit, with two of Goose Island's Bourbon Bourbon County beers ON TAP (about 12 euros for 150ml, but that could be consistent with their cost). Who could have ever imagined to drink it in China!! I also had a beer by Equilibrium (apparently, most of their beers are US). So, selection was rather good from the viewpoint of quality, though with only four beers from China, if I understood well. Overall, a feasible choice for craft beer in such a complicated scenario like Chinese cities.“
