“Of course I like the place. I've stayed here. They have a really good fruit winery. Their best stuff isn't eligible for Ratebeer - blackcurrant wine & stellaport (RIP) - but they are Naramata Cider as well, and the primary source for those products. Good stop to break up the flood of vino into your system while touring the bench wineries.“

Naramata General Store (Grocery Store)

“I mean, this has to have the best beer selection of any agency store in BC, right? Smack in the heart of wine country, they bring in a lot of beer. The focus is on South Okanagan stuff of course. Obviously this doesn't compare with a serious beer store (like, say, Cask & Barrel) but for a general store in a small agricultural town, Naramata General Store has been rock solid for years.“

“A very spectacular spot on the hill overlooking Okanagan lake from Naramata. Nice patio, large and spacious. Tastings were available on my visit but had to be booked in advance thanks to the whole covid thing. Gift shop was well stocked with their own stuff and Naramata ciders. Definitely a good stop.“

“A winery on the peninsula with a very wine focus. Service is great but the fruit wines is not the specialty Selection is good, but it is unlikely they will all be available for tasting. Prices are a bit high. A nice stop.“

“In a beautiful location amongst a handful of other wineries, this is the only one that does fruit wines in the region and is one of three others in the Okanagan. It was very crowded when we visited, though that was because a tour group was visiting. Despite the busyness, service was kind. You can sample 5 products for a small service fee that is waved if you buy a bottle -- prices of which are a little high. Not the best quality, but not bad either. Worth a stop when in the area, but not worth the trip out of the way.“

“Summer days, a lot of people; the service has been somehow rude and careless; the fruit wines are mediocre (not just the apple/pear products), inferior to Forbidden Fruit.“
