“We visited here Saturday 8th April 2023 after a long cycle ride from the Wohnmobil Stellplatz, Brauerei Biberach. This was a great place, it is located in Bayern so over the east side of the river, in fact cycling along the river as we did is a nice way to get to this place. It is located on a corner on a quiet street with parking for bikes opposite. It is a rather grand looking place, looks cool, there is a Biergarten but this was not open when we visited as it was still early April. It was just gone lunchtime when we arrived so a little quieter, but there were a couple of families in here and a lone guy. Beers were very good and more of the craft side, so the two we had were really quite hoppy. Staff were very friendly, quick at serving and as you might expect wore traditional dress. We liked this place, it would be cool to visit in the summer when the Biergarten is open. You could also buy bottled beer to drink in or take away.“

“The brewpub is located in a quiet street and is very rural and typical Bavarian inside. Lots of older local visitors there, waiters very nice and friendly. Menue is big with lots of typical Bavarian food and reasonable prices. Big selection of their own beers. Absolutely recommend.“

“First visited in 2006, did not realise I had not rated on here until my next visit in Nov.2017! Very little has changed except for a better choice of beer... still good quality old styles such as Kellerbier and now several "new" beers such as IPAs etc. A trek to get here but worth it, poor public transport here so a 20 minute walk from Neu Ulm station.“

“Clearly the best of 3 Ulm’s brewpubs. 6 local (mostly traditional) taps are accompanied by more creative stuff in bottles. Recommended place.“

“Part of brewpub-chain. This one has very nice settings (especially outdoors) and produces seasonals (2 at the time of my visit) in additional to standard for this chain Hell, Weiss & Dunkel.“

“This nice establishment is right on the Danube in New Ulm and offers several house brewed beers alongside Bavarian and Shwabian cuisine. The service is friendly and attentive. The copper brew kettles are visible beyond the bar.“

“A taxi ride away from Neu-Ulm station or a fair walk, visited on a freezing Feb night, 2 roomed busy pub, serving decent beer efficiently, good food. Nice place“

“Visited on a wet Sunday evening in July 2011. This was 10-15 minutes bus ride from a stop outside the HBF - to the left as you exit. 2 roomed pub with a large beer garden, award winning at that - unfortunately the inclement weather kept us inside! Service was good here, despite not speaking English the 2 servers, both ladies of a mature nature, understood we were on a quest to get through a few beers and kept us well topped up. All the beers were decent, from memory the Marzen was bottled and the Zwickel and Hefeweizen were on tap. Food was really good, big wholesome portions and big old pot of zenf - non of that cheapened effect of being passed a few sachets! Well worth the trip out of town, have your evening meal here - you won’t go wrong.“

“Very nice restaurant with outdoor dining within view of the Danube plus a separate beer garden if you just want the beers. Nice selection of regional food - great food with big portions . Not much of beer selection but what they have is nice. Definitely worth a stop - a nice place to relax after a day at Legoland.“

“Very nice looking place although very large. Great scenery, big, new and clean. The beers are very good but the selection is small of course. Didn’t try the food but looked great on other tables.“
