“A truly wonderful pub in the Forest of Dean. Kathyrn, who runs the pub, is an old friend of a friend and is a wonderful host, and takes care of a terrific kitchen and great casks. 5 real ale handles plus a couple of lagers and ciders. Only three casks were pouring at mid-week, and she told me that it was only because they were saving a few casks to be in perfect condition for the weekend. Food was great, steak and ale pie worth a drive for. Really one of my happy places.“
