“While visiting town last week we got in here right after it opened at 11AM. I had the Bent Paddle Hazy IPA (great!) Ben had the 3 Floyds IPA. Nice good size place. Clean and kept up. Good knowledgeable bartender.“

“This is a city owned and run liquor store / Bar. Not a big selection here, but I found and interesting local Hazy IPA. My wife could not find a wine she liked. The worker knew nothing about Beer or wine.“

“I 1st stopped in here to have a crowler made while the rest of the group was shopping nearby. I put it in cooler and rejoined the group and led them here for a nice drink and snack. Nice little place. Good fast service. We drank/ate on patio.“

“Tiny space located at the start of the old Nisswa shops district. In fact, this may be the smallest tap room I’ve ever seen. Being the Friday at the start of the 4th of July weekend, the place was full (about 6 people) when we arrived about 3:30 pm. We all were keeping the bartender busy but she kept up. Had the IPA and the new Matty’s Mosaic pale ale. The latter was quite good. There’s a small outdoor patio and the tap room is adjacent to a sandwich shop. Good place to grab a couple growlers for your weekend in the Brainerd lakes area.“

“Stopped in on a Tuesday and sat on the patio. Ordered a couple flights for me and my group. Really nice set-up, good service and the root beer was OUTSTANDING. The beer was all fine. Nothing special. Mostly plain. Patio was nice and the taproom was nice, but small. I could see it being an issue as it is in a big tourist area. Service was good, there were 5 beers on tap. Again, pretty basic stuff. I didn’t eat but food is available! I believe it was $1/pour which is a good value especially if you’re with a group who wants to sample or you want to tick the whole menu. Overall its a nice place with sub-par beer.“

“There is an amazing selection of craft brews for such a small community at this store. If you happen to drive by this place, check it out. It has the Leech Lake Brewing company brews in stock, as well as several others organized by state or country. The beer selection gets worked on daily per the guy at the store. Definitely recommend this store!“
