“At first glance, the Fox is just another heavily-refurbished food-oriented pub in a country village. Drinkers are very welcome, although you may be in the minority (food’s good if you do eat). Not the largest selection with four cask ales (JHB, Grainstore’s Triple B re-badged and two guests) but they make a point of focusing on smaller breweries so ticks are likely. The two guests are new to me. They are passionate about beer here and I would I imagine the constraints of being a village pub keep the beers to sessionable strengths. Maybe not one to go out of your way for but one of the better pubs I discovered in my Rutland journey.“
