“We went the whole hog and stayed at the hotel for our short White Mountain vacation. Hotel is old fashioned, though very comfortable. Included breakfast is excellent. Restaurant very good. Beers good. Good range of styles, skewing towards more old fashioned stuff. Enjoyed all aspects of our stay.“

“Stopped in here for lunch with the family. This is a busy frikin place on a summer weekend afternoon, parking is a little tough. Big space with a bar off to the back left surrounded by tables and a couple of other rooms off to the left. Standard pub food that was quite tasty. 9 or 10 of their brews on tap a few that were brewery only. Somewhat middle of the road beers but I went in expecting that. Somewhat pricey lunch, but its a tourist area and I expected that. I’m not sure I’d go back but it was nice to check it out.“

“Stopped by to have some lunch before heading home after a nice vacation in the White Mountains. Much bigger place than I was expecting. The bars (there’s 2 of them) are both nice. They have a kind of "dive" element to them that works out nicely with the whole atmosphere of the restaurant. Rooms are located across the street I believe. The outside seating was very enjoyable. Nicely decorated with greenery everywhere. Staff was very attentive and the food was excellent. I can’t remember the prices of the growlers but they are affordable. They offer special "Meet the Brewer" Hotel Packages that I’m going to have to do one weekend. Overall I was happy to finally see the first Micro Brewery that I found and liked. It’s always been on my brewery bucket list and I wasn’t let down. Kind of touristy, but that just means is good.“

“Visited with family on the way to see the ice castles on Railroad road in Lincoln. Distressingly, I found this unimpressive and not worth the gas. It’s the only inviting spot for miles and was confusedly in the middle of what looked like a residential cul-de-sac neighborhood. Outside it appears to be an unassuming train junction with locomotive insignia on the sides (curious, but did this location move? I don’t remember seeing any white V-roofed house when I visited North Woodstock in Early March). Inside it’s very pretty: has a huge, shiny wooden bar, dangling Overlook Hotel chandeliers, and just about every conceivable road sign imaginable plastered on their walls. The bar was a handful: extremely crowded and noisy; some of the customers here came off a tad obnoxious -- cutthroat, even. I left for the restroom for three minutes, and my stool was already taken when I got back. I found that the casual dining area in in front made for an easier-going time, but the table we got had dried liquid on it and was surrounded by a 5 year old’s birthday party, so lots of screaming kids and irritated adults. I decided I needed to eat something, and ordered a sandwich with my beer. The burger was partially burnt, expensive for what it was, and ultimately unmemorable. I just don’t see myself ever recommending this place or going back. I don’t do noisy environments, so I may already be biased in this regard, but I didn’t find their food to be worthwhile and I don’t see what all the hubbub was about. I’ve seen lots of their limited beers in bottle shops around northeast NH, so this presents another reason not to return here again.“

“It was nice to finally visit this place. They have a huge footprint with multiple dining rooms. they have a bar & brewpub which for some reason are 2 different rooms with the same beers and same food. staff is nice, the patrons are not beer geeks which is pretty refreshing. i had a nice time here but it’s a very busy spot. My only complaint is the food is very expensive for what you get.“

“Great place to spend a weekend in NH. Good pub food and also another roon for ’fine dinning’. Good selection of their own brews, live music, best of all your room is a walk away“

“Really solid brewpub for being in the middle of nowhere. Nice stop in the middle from Portland to Greensboro, kinda of. Try the Autumn brew, great spicy pumpkin beer.“

“This is a Sunoco gas station with a sandwich shop attached to it, which also happens to have a selection of about 500 beers in bottles. In this relatively remote part of NH, that’s extremely impressive. Doesn’t have a singles section per se, but they will allow you to mix n’ match certain beers from the same brewer (the more mainstream stuff -- Long Trail, Sam Adams, Woodstock, etc.). Quite a treat to find this place after dark on the way back to our cabin. Rather large selection of other convenience store amenities as well (snacks, some groceries).“

“Small pub in a fairly tourist rich area of NH. Only had one beer there, the Vanilla Bean Stout on cask. The beer was a fine example of the style and was served at the correct temp. Unfortunately it was served by a less than enthusiastic bartender, not unfriendly, just seems like he did not want to be there. I had a burger, and for once I ordered it very rare and it came out nicely seared with a cold centre, this earns them a 10 for food. I like a bar that will serve you a raw hamburger without cramming all that FDA crap down your throat. Not sure I would make a special trip to go there, but it did provide a good beer and a tasty lunch.“

“Nice little Inn/Brewpub in North Woodstock NH. Had lunch here while in Lincoln for the New England Brewfest. Ambiance was just ok. It’s an old building with a lot of wood and wallpaper with huge flowers on it. Looks like an old lady lives there, which maybe one did at one time. Tables are kind of crowded together. Service was average to good. Our waitress was attentive and the food did not take long. Speaking of food, there was an excellent selection and it was very good. The beers were ok. Nothing special. It was nice to have a couple that were not bottled.“

“A very convenient Sunday lunch stop on our way across the White Mountains area travelling from Vermont to Maine . Extensive food menu, although nothing too innovative and what we had was decent. Not too overpriced for a Winter sports area. Beers were mediocre but serviceable. Service was efficient but perfunctory. Nice old building with various areas. The bar area might have been more convivial than the dining area where we sat but there were no seats free, which suggests this place might be a bit packed on Friday & Saturday or at the height of the season. Worth a stop if in the area but probably not a special journey. One downside is that the sampler gives you only 5 beers (your choice) when they usually have 7 on tap.“

“An inn, a brewpub, a jack of all trades/ There are 3 places at the inn that serve their beer. The restaurant which is high end, the bar, that has some nice brewpub specials for food, and the brewpub, which is a small area that showcases the brewery, and has their cask offerings. A fun place to visit.“

“This was a pleasant stop in our travels. Easy going town, laid back with shops and sites. Our service was okay, couple of the beers we wanted to try (seasonal) were already off the menu. Beer was average with the Red Rack as a favored choice. Brought a growler along but they wouldn’t fill it due to some BS state law?! Place was comfortable with seating inside and out. Food good and prices reasonable, varied food selection.“

“This quaint old New England inn has a brewpub in the back with different rooms. Their beers are quite conservative (amber ale, pale ale, golden ale, brown ale, etc.) and just okay. The food we had was decent, like the beer, but apart from the fact this is easy to get to from I-93, I don’t see why a travelling beer lover would make a detour to get their brews (which they bottle anyway).“

“Visited here recently. Food was above average... service was good... beers were average, except for the the Oatmeal Stout, which was outstanding. Quite a way off of the main travel routes, unless you are sightseeing in Northern NH, but well worth the day trip.“

“Here is a place that I really like to go. Part of the New Hampshire-based Common Man chain, which is highly regarded and probably the most respected restaurant operation in the state. The owner is very active in community affairs and frequently helps those less fortunate. In recent years a few of their brews have been bottled and sold around New England and most of those brews are above average. But they are not as good as having them fresh out of the barrel at the brewery. A great rustic atmosphere. After dinner you can buy samples of Americana like old magazines and posters. Great, friendly service and a creative menu selection. Super appetizers! The price is a but higher than most pubs but don’t forget that you are visiting a place in the heart of New Hampshire’s North Country tourism hot spot. You will be able to sample a few brews that are only available in the pub. Last time I was there they offered a variety pack of beer samplers for a reasonable price. This is a good place to visit if you are in the area. It’s a bit tricky to find as it is in downtown North Woodstock and doesn’t really jump out at you but I think you will be pleased with your experience. Growlers available on the premises for $10.00 each.“

“My girlfrend and I did the Brewers weekend and had a blast. Stayed across the street in a old style room not that fancy but it was still comfortable. Being able to drink and not have to drive anywhere is great. We woke up at like 6 to brew Saturday morning which was a lot of fun. Crazy Rick the brewer is a fun guy and you get to hang out with a few people for the weekend. everything is all inclusive for the weekend, the food, beer all weekend it was great. The beer isn’t all that great but I drank a lot of the oatmeal stout I’ll tell you that. They had bands play at night and people danced and it was a fun time. Food was pretty good and you can get growlers to go. They even make a root beer that was delicious.“

“Had a nice lunch in here after a few hours of leaf-watching. Sort of a cool old building divided into a series of rooms with completely different vibes. There is an unfortunate choice of wallpaper in the dining area. The bar area is pretty interesting though. A very tasty lunch and the autumn brew was very nice. Worth checking out if you’re on the way through.“

“Had dinner and a couple of beers here after the Ye Olde New England Day brewfest. Food was pretty decent, and waittress offered good service. Beer was pretty much average, the pemi pale wasn’t too bad and the oatmeal stout is alright. Definitely a weird ambiance/atmosphere, as the place is split up into different sections, all with much different personalities. I liked the downstairs, with a rustic bar area, a foosball table, a window with a view of the brewery, and peanut shells on the floor. Clientele seemed to be alot of macro people, probably because there aren’t many other bars in this town. Overall I had a pretty good time and worth a stop if you happen to already be in the area.“

“I was pretty disappointed in this place, but realizing they are one of the only games in town, I sort of have to give them a pass for not playing too much to the beer lovers crowd. We were there on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. The service was average, as was the food. The two beers I had were disappointing (stout, IPA). The coolest part seemed to be the front bar with windows to the brewtanks, but it was crowded in there.“

“Did the brewers weekend. Mixed archictecture, building has had a couple add ons. Sevice was good staff was attentive and friendly.Inn has a couple of house on the same street. Made a batch of wheat beer. Helped from beginning to end. Food was good, pub grub in brewpub and restraunt. More upscale, sort of, at the Inn’s main dining room. I had alot of fun making the beer, plus unlimited beer drinking on saturday while making the beer. Brown ale is very good.“
