“Fairly typical food and beer aimed at visiting alums and parents. Cheap-looking building that seems hastily constructed at the edge of the stadium parking lot. Interior drywall painted Notre Dame’s colors and decor is oppressively Fighting Irish-oriented to help aid the rah-rah spirit. The tap and bottle selections were unimpressive but might contain the occasional surprise. The food is average but the prices were surprisingly fair (and I’m sure jacked up a good amount on gamedays).“

“I work at Notre Dame and we occasionally go there for lunches. As long as work is buying I am up for it as I feel it a bit pricey, which is odd because on a typical weekend night I’ll spend $60 - 70. But I found that when I took a friend out and I even had a water the bill was $48 without tip. The food is good and selection is decent. But if I were to be going out, I’d pick another place.“

“I logged a lot of hours here during my time at Notre Dame! They had 50 bottled beers and an assortment of taps, but most of them were BMC or BMC-ish.. from what I gather, this was a beer-geek bar when it opened (with Dreadnaught and similar on tap), but I guess it deteriorated before I got there. The old Notre Dame themed decor was cool. Service was usually good, but you see variations when you eat somewhere about 50 times over 2 summers. The food was usually good as well, and I can speak for most of the menu. It’s a good place to hit if you’re on campus, but no need to seek it out for the beer.“

“Was in the area and decided to check this place out. Odd location in a university building right by the football stadium. Must be a mad house on game days. Bar area had a nice wood and granite interior with ND related shtick everywhere. 10 or so decent micros lots of macros. Worth a stop in the area. Food was above average.“

“This place is actually owned by the university, which is kind of a strange concept. For that reason, they can’t serve liquor in shots... but that doesn’t really affect me. I spent a summer at Notre Dame, and I became a regular here. They had 3F Rober the Bruce on tap, of which I drank many many pints. There are also some good bottles. The place is themed out with Notre Dame sports memorabilia, and the menu items are all named after sports references I don’t get. Going in the summer, it was almost never busy at all. I can imagine that that would not be the case during the school year. The food was pretty good; over the course of the summer I tried most of the items on the menu. Not a place to seek out for beer, but if you find yourself at Notre Dame for some reason, definitely check it out.“

“Nice beer selection. 21 taps including domestics. Modern, corporate sports bar atmosphere. Non-smogging-always a plus.“

“Well, I finally got a chance to get back here. Didn’t get a chance to try any of the food, but they have a real nice tap selection and good ambiance, assuming you’re an ND fan. They had a lot of random lower abv local stuff from Bells, Three Floyds, Mad Anthony, and some real local stuff brewed by Nine G. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. It’s probably better that they opened after I graduated, or perhaps I might not have graduated at all.“

“The place is easy to get to off of I-80 but beware, it is crowded and parking may be difficult during major ND sporting events (football, basketball, tourneys) Food is done by students so the more crowded, the better chance of lower quality. The decor is Notre Dame themed of course, but comfortable. A dran good place for a brew on Sunday afternoon.“
