60 /100 BAHNHOFSPLATZ 1 brewery-restaurant in the railway-station Ober-Grafendorf, the station is still in use on the line Laubenbachmühle-St. Pölten,
it was a old ugly railway-restaurant and completely renovated 2015, 2 house-beers on tap, nice atmosphere with railway-equipment-decor, usually small snacks available
sometimes unpleasant visitors from the era before renovation |
50 /100 BAHNHOFSPLATZ 1 Located in former train station this small brewery has a nice feel. Local Zwickl & Bock were in good condition. Food list is very limited, but will be all right to make company for local beer. |
70 /100 BAHNHOFSPLATZ 1 Nice little brewpub in the train building of Obergrafendorf. There seem to be regular trains from St. Pölten, so it should be easy to reach. The place has a nice ambiance and was carefully decorated. Overall its not too big but decent size. I would say maybe 40 people. You can see the brewing equipment behind the glass wall. I had a Zwickl that was in good shape. Unfortunatly there were some problems with the carbonation on the Weissbier, so I did not try that one (only foam coming out of the tap and waitress didnt know what to do). They also have a limited food selection, but dont expect anything too fancy. They also had two bottle selections. Their own Bahnhofsbräu Lager + Erzbräu Dirndlbier. Prices are decent, 0,3l from tap cost me 2,80 Euros. The bottle to take away (0,5l) cost 2,5 euros. Service was friendly and quick. Overall recommended place. |
