58 /100 14000 BC-97 Just a little shack on the highway that offers tastings. Service was friendly, though I swear she said she would offer 4 tastings for me and only did 3. Maybe I'll go back. Ciders weren't bad at all, nothing exceptional but still all right. If you're on this stretch of road trying out the local cideries it's worth a stop. |
66 /100 9140 92ND AVENUE A modest tasting room in Osoyoos along the highway, maybe the first on the stretch of tasting rooms between here and Penticton. They're mostly geared up for wine but there are cans of their cider available for take-away and I didn't even check if they would do a "tasting" of it since the bar was already packed with the wine tasters. Just shut up and buy the 4-pack and get on your way. |
34 /100 14000 BC-97 Well, this wasn't the greatest visit. We arrived five minutes before closing. Now, the one staff was cashing out already, but was kind of grumpy about us walking in. Like, you're the one trying to cut work early. When we walk in, we want a smile and a welcome, not some grumpy person who can't even turn it on. Not professional. Tasting was free, well, with donation, but none of them were all that good. The owners are selling the place, so maybe they've already checked out. Really disappointing visit. You're trying to sell the place and can't make the effort to make a good impression? How's that work? |
70 /100 14000 BC-97 A converted shack that is actually quite nice and small. You can try all the ciders from bottles. Staff is nice and knows the product, but not much knowledge beyond their own. The flights are free so that is nice. Cider is OK, but if driving by worth a quick stop. |
64 /100 14000 BC-97 Tiny little place right on the highway. You can sample 5 of their 6 ciders that they had for sale on my visit for free. Bottles to go ranged from $14-18 for a 750mL. Cider itself was average to pretty good. Service was very friendly and passionate about the product. Worth the stop-in when in town. |
