“Nice, medium-sized brewpub (although the beers are not brewed here) quite a bit away from the town itself. It’s only opened during the summer months, and in the winter it is used as the club house of an ice skating club. The interior is made up by lots of wood and very cozy overall. Outside, there is a large, wooden patio with different options for seating like couches, high wooden stools or just normal tables, and you have a nice view of the farmlands, although you can unfortunately not see the Amstel river since it is too far away. At the moment, they had five beers on tap, while one of them was a one-off which was only offered here. Apart form the beer, a few other drinks were also available, and a bit of cheese and sausage as well. Prices were really good, even for the small snacks. The staff seems to be very enthusiastic about this place, they were interested if I liked the beer, and spread a positive atmosphere. It’s a good place to hang out, especially after a lengthy bike ride in the sun, and quite a few people were making use of it.“
