“Visited March 2019. Came here for dinner for my wife's birthday. Would not have expected this place to be on RateBeer, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Actually only realized it is because we're planning another weekend trip down to Monterey and Santa Cruz. They do have a small beer and cider list here that has a few interesting things, but nothing really amazing. Frankly, the beer list is kind of boring and offers a lot of typical widely distributed beers and not really even much local stuff. The cider list is at least more interesting with some odd ball bottles, but they're kind of pricey. I would assume they mostly offer beer because they know some people will want it and try to pick readily available offerings that will pair reasonably well with their food. The food here is excellent and I highly recommend coming here to eat, but I would probably stick to the wine list.“

“Saw bottle shop so I thought I drop by. It also is close to another RB place. Nicely laid out store. Medium selection. Unfortunately everything is in 4 packs, except some ciders and large format bottles. Got one cider from a new Cidery. In general I don’t recommend this place.“

“Not a beer place. Good and affordable wine menu. Great food. If you want seafood on the peninsula, I suggest coming here. Beer Selection is small, but decent for an upscale restaurant. Beer destinations have increased since last review in 2010.“

“OK, this is an upscale seafood restaurant, not a beer place. However, there are so few decent beer destinations in the area that this might be a good fit if you’re looking for great fish ("sustainable seafood") and a decent beer to pair it with. They had Lost Abbey Red Barn, Green Flash West Coast IPA, and a handful of others - I couldn’t find beer like that anywhere else in Monterey. Food is fantastic, although the specials are pricey. Wine list is excellent as well.“
