“Fairly central, "side" street, place, sharing a small passage and inside court with a restaurant. The first thing you see is the cute little patio, but the inside has its character as well. Fairly empty interior when I entered, but it filled up. Good service all in all, didn't try to talk beer, but I got what I ordered quickly enough. 8 taps, a pretty good variety, if slightly uneven quality when I was there. Had 4 ticks for me, including a Grodziskie from Nepomucen - damn cool to randomly tick that here, a blueberry milkshake sour from Hradecký Klenot, the blueberry lager from Beskydský and some hoppy lager from Malešov. There was a new Sibeeria NEIPA on tap, a Crazy Clown special, Jungberg's Lager aaand... something. Solid selection in bottles looking at the site too. Now, can't compare it to UTP to claim if it's the best in town or not, but this is a great place for Pardubice to have, care was obviously invested into it, and I'll be glad to pop in the next time as well.“

“So, technically an twin bar or extension of U Toulavé pípy, working only during warmer times I reckon, or for special events - and it's on a moored boat, next to the Chrudimka, for extra points. UTP is being renovated, so I had to take my chances here, hah. Very atmospheric in a way, locals and tourists visiting it seemingly. Friendly, nice lady behind the bar, doing a good job. 6 taps, with remains of a bunch of casks of Franconian lagers from an event a day or two before teasing me. Solid selection, Paulaner Oktoberfest, Obora Philadelphia Sour Apricot, Kocour / Löbau Strawberry Porter, something nice I'd had before and Mordýř Venuše as the only beer I'd missed, so I went for that, not bad. The fridge seemed pretty "raided" - I guess due to the various events in town that day and before, there was some Modýř stuff inside as well, among others. A nice place, but I'll go out on a limb and say that UTP is probably far better beer-wise. Still, if you're here when it's open, go for it!“

“A pretty big Tesco in the big, busy, centralish local mall. Not the wildest selection ever, but still above average for random stuff - got to tick a Krakonoš 10° dark for 4.30CZK+bottle deposit probably, which was insane. Not much of a cold selection, no Pardubice beers I'd missed at the brewery, not sure I saw any craft, but you're bound to find ticks here. Quick service. Well, probably THE place to do your shopping and cheap ticking in town, dunno.“

“So, a complex consisting of a pub/restaurant and a store around the gates of the Pardubice brewery, a 10 minute's walk from the main train station (in the direction of the city center). If you're in town, a pretty easy visit, not a bad place to waste time at before the train. Very busy on my Saturday night visit, but there was a Scooter concert and some other big event in the town. Classic, lighter brown-ochre wooden-style pub. 5 taps - the Arnošt Hořká 10° (not from the eponymous micro inside the brewery, which may or may not be defuct) - not bitter but okay, the Vilém 11° on tank - bit empty but in good shape and chuggable, the Hořká dvanáctka ze sklepa, which I missed, the unfiltered Kvasňák 13° (might guess the "high gravity" unfiltered base of one of the classics - but unimpressive), and the Porter, in solid shape. Managed to get an extra tick - Pernštejn Premium from the fridge. Service... mixed bag, efficient once you got to them, busy, generally professional, but borderline rude in one case. The prices are quite low generally, 30-42 for 0.5l the various lagers, 51 for 0.4l of the Porter. The food looked good, but had to give it a miss this time, as more than half the place was empty, under reserved signs - could have benefited and earned more with "reserved from" notes, but hey. Nice patio too, but no service and food there, except that somehow some people got their food there, must have missed something, or they were someone special. All in all, you should visit it - easy Pardubice ticks, the beers are probably in the best shape you'll find Pardubice beers in, and that's it. Could benefit from a wider selection in the fridge, unless this is all they make right now, dunno.“

“Quite large bierhalle next to the brewery gates. Quite empty on Saturday afternoon only some customers outside on terraces. Few taps inside and very empty fridge. Classic Pardubice beers all represented. Very little English spoken. And staff was no represented most of the time I was there. Dunno where they were.“

“The local pub in a two floor house 4 kms north of Pardubice centre. Interior quite modern, café tables and café chairs. Somewhat cantine impression. A dog came in. Local pub with beers from small cz breweries. Cobolis Mordýř Krušnohor ČernyPotoka JungBerg Clock Antoš Pazdrat Malkovsky Agent aso, and even an HoppyHog-bottle from OdessaUA they had. 2019“

“Super classic czech hostinec restaurant in an impressive old building on prominent square in the old town. One specialty is placing green liquor in centre of a pilsner. Frequented by pardubicians mostly, and tourists who want something 110% pardubicish.“

“Entrance from J.Palacha next door to Potrefena Husa, escalator downstairs. Special shelf with new beers. I found five completely new local-reginal czech beers. Very surprised n satisfied.“

“In same block as concert hall. Entrance on the side, not easy to find. Interior school-cantin'ish, and frequented by young students - the future of the Czech prbl. Beer-tender spoke some english. Cashpay. Music far back. 3+3 taps, some macro, some local, some craft beers. Fridge has ciders, wines, and soft drinks. Spartan cafe. Works mainly as coffee bar. Found a Mordyr-dipa.“

“About 50 beers if you enter UTP’s door on the corner: micro brews, specialties, often just 34-45czk. This spot is a top-3 to top-4 for a ratebeerian in Pardubice. Some of the beer brands: Ferdinand, Raven, Krkonošký, Bon, Hodiny, Letohradsky, Raven, Mordýř, Koníček, Antoš, Chýně, Sedm Kuli, Dvorní, Malešov, Bizon, Starokladno, Kujeba, Záhlinické, Nachmelena, Jina Značka, Bobr, Rezek, Šnekovo, Mazak, Gwern, Cvikov, Husar, U Vacků, Lobeč, Gajdoš, Biskupicke, Valášek, Svatováclavské, Matuška, Milver, Pašák, Nomad, Kocour, Zuzana, Kamenik, a další. Not all at the same time though. They have an improvement potential. Cleaner pipes and try go a bit harder for Havřan’s two local beers. Nice interior and beautiful blue classic building.“

“Less than 500m from Old City, the street Smilova. Beers here: Berko, F.L.Vek, Pol A Czech, Valášek, Antoš, Mordyř, Kluk, Černe Poupé, Albrecht, Goldie, Komar, Rychnovska, Kujeba, Zemske, Wywar, Vojkovjan, Vsacan, Krkonošsky, Kounic, Ignác, Chomout, Chýně, Podgórz, Matuška, Mazak, Zuzana, Trumer, Ruprenz, Hron, Gallasův, Rejčka, Hradecké, Krasna Studanka, Qasek, Lipan, Opavské, Novorišske, Tři sestry, Rampušák, Chvalovicke, Podřipske, Parnik Melichárek, Zlínský, Mazel, Kocour, Monopol, Špalda. Among three good beer-bars this is probably No.1 in Pardubice.“

“With 8 taps and half hundred bottles, situated on the parallel street south of Smilova. Relatively young guests. Chotěboř, Kanec, Raven, Podlužan, Sedm Kuli, Mordýř, Rohozec, Ferdinand, Primátor, Rebel, Skalak, and they had even more micros few years back. Beer Bar is no.3 among the best beer-bars a ratebeerian should visit in Pardubice.“

“Pracoviště v nákupním středisku v blízkosti nákupního centra Palac. Police s pivem obsahují některé mikro várek. Místní piva z Pardubic a přilehlých oblastech taky. Nearby the Palac shopping mall. Shelves with beer contain some micro brews. Local beers from Pardubice and nearby regions too. I found the polotmavy that pivovarka didn’t have in stock that day.“

“Worth visiting for the Pardubicky Porter alone. Fresh on tap, it’s a delight. Bottle shop next door sells it at very low price too. The other beers were uninteresting and their gulash is not in my top 10. Still it’s so near of the train station that you should not skip it if passing by.“

“Visited in October 2006. Bar and garden at the Brewery, with all their styles available. Couldn’t get much info about the beers when I was there (in English or German), but it was crowded. I remember their porter being great. Definitely worth a stop.“

“Pivovarka is the name of the brewery restaurant and the bottle shop of the Pernstejn brewery in Pardubice. It is located only a few steps from the main train station. The restaurant and the shop are located at the entrance to the brewery. The whole range of beers is available, as wel as on tap and in bottles. Something special is also available: unfiltered 12° lager (kvasnicové pivo), which is only available on tap here and not available bottled. If you are in Pardubice, this is worth a visit.“
