70 /100 62193 710TH ROAD I’m always wary of brewery/vinyards. The beer always seem to take a backseat to the wine. I didn’t sample the wine when Jess and I visited in 2018, but the beers were a nice mix of standards (best being the Scotch ale) and crowd pleasers (lemon lime ale). Large and open, just outside town. Very friendly staff who encourage you to sample all of their beers (for free). Good food too! |
66 /100 62193 710TH ROAD A sweet place to visit, but way off the beaten path - unless you have been on the bike trail that runs a few yards away. We were greeted by the kind and enthusiastic owners, who are truly excited to be open. The cheese plate was yummy, and the beer was tasty. |
64 /100 62193 710TH ROAD No beer is currently being made here. instead, the owner is borrowing the facilities at Upstream Legacy to make his 3 beer selections. All 3 beers are good and I feel it is worth the drive to the middle of nowhere to visit the place. Apparently, the bread and cheese platter sold here is the only food available in the entire little dead town. The owners are super nice people and if you also enjoy wine, this will be a big plus for you. UPDATE 12/2009: A long overdue update. They make and bottle their own beer now at the winery location. Big trivia points for the "Larry the Cable Guy" endorsed "Git’er Done" beer. Any beer enthusiast has to appreciate the attempt to keep a brewery going in the middle of nowhere. The beer is good, but the people here are salt of the earth. |
