74 /100 IVAILOVSKO SHOSE 41, PAZARDZHIK Lovely brewery with a good beers and fair prices, definitely a must visit if you happen to be in boring Pazardzhik. |
100 /100 IVAILOVSKO SHOSE 41, PAZARDZHIK Great place with great beer and atmosphere in suburbs of the town of Pazardzhik. Apart from the huge variety of drought beers you can order a snack - from homemade French fries to different types of meats. |
80 /100 IVAILOVSKO SHOSE 41, PAZARDZHIK Excellent side trip that we did from Plovdiv. 25 minute train ride takes you to the station which is quite a way from town. The number 1 bus passes outside the Station (1 Bulgarian Lev fixed fare each, cash to the roaming conductor) and you can alight at the north end of town about a 900 metre walk from the brewery. They were setting up for a big bash that was happening in a few days, but made plenty of effort to make our stay welcoming. The father of the brewer spoke excellent English as did one of his other sons. The large beer garden area was great in the sunshine. Beers were very good and the range was quite varied. Excellent experience and they called us a taxi back to the station which cost around £3.50. Go. |
78 /100 IVAILOVSKO SHOSE 41, PAZARDZHIK Located just outside of the small town of Pazardzhik, the brewery has been under construction for two years. The space is located along an industrial corridor and the Saturday I was here, I was the only one in the place. They are set up well for visitors though, 8 taps allowing for samples, half pints and full pints. Indoor space with an industrial feel and a nice outdoor space that I would imagine is comfortable all year long. Bottles to go as well. Light bar snacks available, otherwise no food. Price seemed good, everything in Bulgaria is cheap by Western standards. The folks running the place are extremely friendly and service oriented with good English too. If you are traveling through the area, it’s worth ducking in. I made the long drive out from Sofia, but I’m not sure that’s for everyone. |
80 /100 IVAILOVSKO SHOSE 41, PAZARDZHIK Brewery tap room and terrace of Bulgaria’s longest lasting proper craft brewery. The correct address transcribes into roman script as Ivaylovsko Shose but this is not found on most maps. This is the road out of Pazardzhik towards Ivaylo, 200 metres beyond the town boundary. Ultramodern and virtually unfurnished. No food unless you count the beer and nougat ice cream. Beers in best condition. Bottles when the bottling plant has not let them down. |
