“Very pleasant outdoor setting overlooking farm fields. A variety of interesting beers on tap. Enjoyed their S'more porter Very friendly helpful owner and staff. Live music when we were there.“

“Visited on a cold January Sunday and watched some great NFL playoff games. The burgers are excellent and the beer is solid. Will happily go back. Staff are very freindly and could give the interesting history of the brewery and its pre prohibition namesake as well as the building which also housed the original brewery- cool place in a great location. Right next to the State Park at the east end of Little Traverse Bay“

“Just outside the downtown area in Petoskey, located in an old brick building. Easy parking. Has a family restaurant vibe. Nothing too special as far as beers go, mainly basic styles, but they get the job done. Food menu is typical American pub food, a bit greasy but enjoyable. A decent stop, though not my favorite of the Petoskey brewpubs.“

“Excellent location in downtown Petoskey, overlooking Lake Michigan. Parking can be difficult especially on a weekend. It is a large place with multiple seating areas, including a very nice outdoor patio (although it can be chilly out there). Still a very scenic view even at the bar. Beers are solid, had a tasty maple sap stout. Good selection. They have food, although I didn't get any (I believe the menu is centered around pizzas). A nice spot for beer in downtown Petoskey, easy to explore the downtown area and lake as well.“

“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, nice venue. They only have Ciders at this time, both were really good. Beautiful area in the middle of nowhere. Small venue inside, lots of room outside. Well worth the stop to play bags, relax, enjoy the outdoors.“

“Near Petoskey Brewing. Kinda funky grocery store. Staff was friendly. Nice selection. Single selection was haphazard but had some nice stuff in it. Prices decent. Worth a stop if nearby.“

“Not a bad drive from Petoskey. Small place, but due to COVID they've created an outdoor tasting room. Nicely done but I had one of the two umbrella-less tables on a hot as fuck day. I saw some foodstuffs going around but I did not partake. Several beers, meads, and ciders on tap. Flights available. A bit pricy. Staff was friendly. Tried four beers in the flight and all four were very good. Recommended.“

“Unique place outside Petoskey. It is a few miles from town on a farm. It is solely an outdoor space on a hillside/farm, very pretty. There are a handful of tables with umbrellas and 2 enclosed larger tables. Although there is a lot of outdoor space, there is not that much seating and they do encourage reservations (we were ok early on a Friday afternoon). There is an outdoor bocce court and corn hole. The space is shared with a winery, Rudbeckia. They have 8 beers on tap (of course there is wine too). Their flagship beer is a s’mores Porter served with a burnt marshmallow on top. Otherwise they have mostly standard styles. They offer food too, which I didn’t order, but seems to mostly be shared plates/appetizers. Overall a nice place to spend some time outside drinking a beer - make sure you go on a nice day!!“

“I like the previous review so much I'm going to ("respectfully") borrow it (corrected the spelling of the town though...lol!)..."Made a quick stop in here while passing through Petoskey. Had a few IPAs as a part of a flight and they were very good." So...very cool place...love the design! Lots of beers...beer quality was good...a couple maybe very good (liked the Citra and Owlmadillo...Malucious was decent). Definitely a cool place to see and stop if passing thru...food looked good...beers, although fine, aren't the reason alone to come.“

“I nice mom and pop place on the outside of town. Four beers were on tap at the time and wine as well. Stopped in long enough for a short beer while passing through but it would be a nice place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon.“

“Off the beaten path near farms and wine country. Small tap room in a small building. Staff nice. will demonstrate flaming Marshmallow if you order a full sized S'more Porter. Outside is rural seating area. Quaint.“

“A historic building just outside of the downtown. Tall ceilings, brick walls, look like a deck/patio in back. Beers were good and our server friendly, would have ate a burger but just ate. Parking looked plentiful.“

“This their new location which just got built. It served fine food to pair with beer samples. Parking in downtown Petoskey seem a little changeling. Waitress was friendly and the view out of the many windows of Lake Michigan is great. They have some beers to go.“

“UPDATE We visit the expanded, restaurant location about once a year when we are in Petoskey. Great view. Decent food. And good service. 6/22/2014: Wife and I virtually stumbled across this place in Petoskey. Glad we did. Tiny, nano-brewpub tucked into a cozy alley. Decent beers and while we were there we heard the bartender taking her time to recruit non-craft beer tourists who were drawn by the funky "come down the alley" draw. We definitely will visit anytime we are in the area. “

“Visited briefly in early afternoon on the way down from the UP to Shorts, 09/2013. Convenient location on the throughroad in a pleasant lakeside setting. Newly renovated stately red-brick brewery building, not quite filled with patrons, some work lunch groups and families. Service: typical US attentive/perky when need be female student force. Selection: about 8 taps, only the two main features that grabbed my interest, Hopsessed and Portergraphic were sold out, others "coming soon". $2/2.50 samples. Had the fair Mind Eye PA. Overall pleasant, unexpected stop in a pretty thin beer area. Probably nice to follow up how this develops within the NMich region, could imagine this profit-and thriving on all that competition down below.“

“Stopped while driving in northern Michigan on vacation. Enjoyed a "build your own" flight of their beers. Located in an old brewery they have renovated. Cool stop if you are in the area.“

“Very small place (hence nanobrewery) tucked back off one of the downtown streets... Door leads through a covered alley feeling space to the bar area, which is minimal, but perfect for enjoying a good beer. Food is limited to snacks and they have small games available. Beer is excellent, maybe 6 taps available. Service was great, friendly, helpful. Strong recommend to stop in here to enjoy... we will be back when in the area again!“

“Overall great place with very good beer -- highly recommend a visit. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good selection of their beers, of which they all were good to excellent. Food menu is limited (doesn’t bother me) and quality was high for what we ordered ... it complemented the beer nicely. “
