| 78 /100 Beer Asylum (Bar) RED LION PARADE, 1 BRIDGE STREET “Solid craft beer bar and bottle shop in a less likely part of London. This area isn't so much a beer desert as a beer vacuum, so Beer Asylum is a very welcome stop. They've been open for a while now, but I've never been able to make the trek until now. It's definitely a decent stop, with five good beers on keg (Anspach & Hobday, Pig & Porter, Marble, Oakham, Beatnikz Republic) for drinking in or growler fill. All beers on tap are session to mid-strength, but if you'd like something stronger, there is plenty of added choice in the bottle fridge. They do some interesting events (e.g. there's an upcoming Pressure Drop and food pairing) Everything is at quite a reasonable price as well. No WiFi, and no customers' loos.“ |
