“Went here with my dad as a kid. Looked so incredibly large back then. Although it definitely isn’t a small place, it has a decent amount of Belgian beers but it’s not a place for tickers.“

“The little house of H..., a kind of a Vintage shop/barn, with a funny spirit. Nice to go there and discover the choice of many Belgium beers. Like in the whole of Belgium, prices have gone up since last year (taxes). Good service given by the crew. May be “must stop” if you are in the neighborhood. A good Fish-shop and Delicatessen are also located near the Biergrens.“

“Small store located just next to the Belgian/Dutch border. Selection focusses on Belgians, but there is also a shelf with Danish stuff from Mikkeller and so on (really no clue what exactly, I don’t keep track of the Mikkeller madness). They also have really a lot of Westy’s if you are interested in overpriced, average quads, dubbels and blondes. ;-P Rest of the selection is not too interesting, mostly your usual suspects.“

“Large store with a relative small selection, located near the Belgian/Dutch border. The store is located at a courtyard with own parking place. The access road from the main road is a bit hidden between. Service is friendly. Selection has mostly Belgian, some interesting beers from Dochter van de Korenaar.“

“A small liquor store in downtown poppel the service was friendly, the prices were good selection of beers were the normals but I still found a few special so that’s ok for me“

“Relatief kleine ruimte waar diverse bieren op zich netjes naast elkaar gesorteert zijn. Tevens staan er diverse bakken bier rondom waardoor de doorgang erg smal wordt. Omdat ik al bij andere bierzaken ben geweest moet ik constateren dat het hier maar matig is. Overigen wel een mooie voorraad Westvleteren dat is een plus !“

“Small crammed shop at the dutch-belgian border. Seems chaotic. Not a great selection but you can find some belgian ales to tick if that’s your thing. Some glassware too.Okay prices. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit but if it happens to be around give it a chance.“

“Op de grens van nl en België onder de rook van Turnhout en Tilburg vindt je deze bierschuur. Ruime keuze in Belgische bieren en enkele geïmporteerde bieren aanwezig, ook wat minder bekende maar niets echt speciaals. Prijzen zijn naar Nederlandse maatstaven goed betaalbaar.“

“Fine beerstore on the Dutch-Belgian border. A lot of widely availble Belgian beers, but I managed to find 3 new beers so it wasn’t a useless visit. Staff is patient, prices are fine. Don’t come here looking for rare ones, but there’s plenty of Belgian beers if you haven’t had a lot of them.“

“Realy close to the Dutch Belgian border, this looks like some kind of garage on the out side. On the inside, I guess it’s a typical Beglium Bierschuur. Lots of crates as Martinus already stated. Nothing much, or nothing at all at the rare beers, but got some nice seasonal stuff which seems to sell out elsewhere quicker. It’s not bad and most likely you will find something to leave the place, though I guess it’s not much. Service is ok, prices are ok, location is ok. Nothing spectacular but it’s all ok.“

“Nice place, lots of crates around and rather big lines of customers coming for tobacco and lottery tickets.
OK selection, mostly the well known staples, but there is the occasional hidden gem which makes a visit almost always worth it.“

“Been some time since I visited the place, but was very content with it. For a Norwegian guy driving by on a Sunday, it was a very welcomed surprise to find that it was open, as in Norway, no stores may sell alcohol on a Sunday. Bought a nice selction of Belgians and a few glasses. I am a bit concerned on how the temperature will be on a hot summer day though. By the way, the reason for stopping was the gas station just across the street, so it was a nice to find a drankecentrale on the opposite side of the road..“

“A nice shop in Poppel (Belgium) near the border with netherlands. A really friendly owner and very good knowledge of the staff. It is a nice atmosphere and they have a nice selection of beers and wine. They are now changing the store to make it really cosy. They try to have regularly new beers. A visit worth!“
