Peterley Manor Farm (Grocery Store)
PETERLEY LANE
“Biggish yet friendly farm shop offering a mix of fresh produce from their own farm (it's a big pick your own venue in the summer), plus high quality stuff both from other local producers and further afield. Whilst the food prices are on the high side, beer and cider prices are actually quite reasonable. And on that note they stock 20-30 local beers & ciders - it's a rare outlet for Old Luxters, plus also Rebellion and Malt the Brewery and maybe one or two others that I don't recall. Nothing too unusual for local Ratebeerians, but visitors from further afield might pick up a fair few Buckinghamshire rates here. On a side note, it's worth looking out for their food festivals, which often host different breweries and cideries to those stocked in their shop... although having said that the price of entry to the festivals has got a bit steep in recent years. Edit (following further visit on 14/7/23): in addition to the breweries mentioned above, there are also beers from Mad Squirrel and Shandy Shack, and ciders from Grover's, Bensons and The Chiltern Cider Co.“

Polecat Inn (Restaurant)
170 WYCOMBE ROAD
“Beautiful old school English pub, old building with lots of uneven nooks and crannies, large patio and beer garden with space for kids to run wild, tasty and sensibly priced food, four ales on tap. Ale all local - my only criticism would be the prevalence of the insipid Rebellion beers but they are the local filth so what can you do...“

68 /100 COLLINGS HANGER FARM
“Visited on Saturday 16/04/16 around 13.00. Located between High Wycombe and Great Missenden, the Malt brewery tasting room has 5 cask lines dispensing their own offerings, allied to 5 or 6 bottles available to take away. Growler fills also available of whatever is on at the bar (these are advertised on the website) - their own growlers only though! The bar has 5 or 6 stools around it which were filled with locals, who were also topping up their growlers, supplemented by a larger seating area with maybe 4 or 5 tables. There is also a patio area outside - dogs not allowed in the building. All the, shiny and modern, brewing kit is clearly visible from the bar. As well as the beers for sale in bottle, a number of local products such as cheeses and bread (made with the breweries malt) are also available, plus some merchandise. Staff were friendly and service prompt, I was given the lowdown on one or two beer queries I had in respect to the RB database. Overall a solid small scale brewer, they focus on the traditional styles but the 2 I had, an ESB and a bitter were both really good examples of the styles - clean, flavoursome and I could certainly have had more of these!“
