74 /100 141 SCHOONER LANE UNIT #15 Stopped by on the way home from MD. Nice neighborhood feel. Service was decent. Beer was decent and they had a bigger selection than I anticipated. Prices were average. We were going to take a sixer to go but they were out of most everything in bottle. |
68 /100 Nick’s of Calvert (Grocery Store) 930 COSTLEY WAY This is a large new supermarket. Large beer area, big selection of large format bottles, heavy on Bruery stuff and lots of regionals. Very few singles. Worth a look. |
80 /100 141 SCHOONER LANE UNIT #15 Really friendly place. Industrial/commerical location. Production facility on the left, seven barrel system, tasting room on the right with a long bar. Couple of outdoor tables with umbrellas. Brewer Jason was doing a brewing demo on his former homebrew system while mom was serving behind the bar. Guided one-at-a-time tasting of six beers (they had ten on effort) was five bucks and you keep the glass, three ounce pours. All beers were very tasty. Bottles or growlers to take away also. Kid and dog friendly. Food is chips and popcorn. Worth travling to visit. Frequent events. |
