“A tiny place in a tiny industrial strip. Limited seating. Worth a stop by for the social interaction with the few folks that can sit at the bar, though the beers still need some work. Very limited opening hours…“

“Large pub, with an interesting menu. The beer list usually has a few IPAs, and experimental things. There's usually a high quality level here - a good case can be made that they are the best brewery in the Nanaimo Regional District these days. It feels lively most of the time, too, which is unique in sleepy retiree town Qualicum.“

“I've never seen so many people under the age of 60 in one place in Qualicum Beach. Seems like a little commercial footnote on the edge of town, very nice patio, good interior. Very busy on a Friday afternoon. Flights available, 6 beers of their own on my visit and they were not bad at all. Food was quite good, bannock was exceptional. Between this spot and Loveshack Libations you'll have yourself a nice weekend.“

“A nice modern tap room with patio and food. Beers still need to mature but worth a stop for food and a flight“

“I had no idea what to expect from the place. I'd driven past it several times but given the wonky hours it had always been closed. Not this time - late summer and the parking lot was packed, there was a food truck out front, and I could barely squeeze into the place. It's essentially the brewery with a few full wood tables, sliced from a tree. Proper glassware is offered for each beer in a flight, from your usual taster all the way to a martini glass. It was obvious the small staff were struggling to keep up as their reputation must be growing. And based on my tasting, the guy is brewing some of the best beers in B.C. right now. 500ml bottles are available for take-away at a steal price of seven bucks each. I'd highly encourage any beer geek to make a visit before the success settles in, the ingredients start thinning out, and the magic fades. This place is a real gem that reminds me of why I became interested in craft beer in the first place.“
