Jiffy Mart (Grocery Store)
6800 WOODSTOCK ROAD
“There are about 50 Jiffy Mart convenience stores located around Northern Vermont and New Hampshire. They have gas and typical convenience store fare. This particular one has a Subway and a pizza place inside the store with plenty of parking. It is about 10 minutes from the New Hampshire border off I-93 and about a mile south of scenic Quechee Gorge. I pick up the occasional Vermont-only craft beer 4-pack here. Their prices are not bad considering. But it is simply a quick place to find something I can;t get in New Hampshire. Nothing extraordinary about it.“

Jakes Quechee Market (Grocery Store)
7161 WOODSTOCK ROAD
“This is an independent grocery store near the Quechee Gorge State Park. The beer section is mainly a cooler and a small aisle. They offer growler fills on premises and there are 3 choices at any given time. Prices are a tad higher than I would like and you cannot break up 4/6 packs. It has a nice produce aisle and a small deli. It also offers some specialty grocery items. I live in NH and this is about 10 minutes from the state line and I will stop there when I want to pick up some VT beer.“

Cabot Quechee Store (Beer Store)
5573 WOODSTOCK ROAD
“Keep in mind this really isn’t a beer store. It’s a Cabot cheese store and antiques mall that happens to have some beer and wine. There are free samples of Cabot cheese laid out, some are ones you wouldn’t typically see in a grocery store. Up in the front there are some shelves where they have some Rock Art, Otter Creek and some Long Trail. I’ve been there twice now. Selection is sketchy at best. It was here that I first discovered Rock Art.“

Cabot Quechee Store (Beer Store)
5573 WOODSTOCK ROAD
“The Rock Art stuff typically gets released here and it’s dirt cheap. Free samples of Cabot cheeses and a bunch of local Vermont fare. There is an antique market in the back as well. It’s not really a beer place and it doesn’t really belong here, but it’s not a bad place to stop in.“
