48 /100 Country Wine & Spirits - Main St (Beer Store) 1350 MAIN ST This is a sleepy little gas station/liquor, wine, and beer convenience store. While they carry some craft beers, it is a small selection. There is a deli counter for food-to-go, primarily sandwiches. |
56 /100 780 MAIN ST A small brewery just off "Main St." in Ramona. The beers are average at best. No food, except for the free nachos self-served from a crockpot. Friendly enough service. |

Stopped in for a soda on the way down the hill from Julian. This barely qualifies as a beer store. They have one section of the fridge packed with decent beer and that’s about it. There are some good things in there like Firestone, AleSmith, Ironfire, and Saint Archer, but over all they might have about 30 different bottles. At least they’re all refrigerated. I would say that most of what they carry can be found at about any gas station, but that’s not entirely true outside of San Diego. And yes, this IS actually a gas station. They also had this funny looking one liter tequila bottle that was shaped sort of like an AK 47 (guessing that’s what it’s supposed to be). All I ended up buying was a diet coke. |
