Located on the top of Katschberghöhe in a very touristic area (skiing, hiking, climbing).The brewery (+a small distillery) is behind the bar of the Pizzeria. Very wooden, ‚Hütten-style‘ interior. 3 beers available: Helles, Dunkles, Pilsner (and a Gemischtes). Taste was better than expected. Stamperl claims to be the highest situated brewery in Austria (1670 meters altitude).“ |
