“Not anymore. Beer inventory way down as of late. IPAs from 18 months ago on the shelves. Inexplicably condescending Wa-Tard staff. No bathroom. Closed on Sunday and Monday. Pffft.“

“Run down sports bar. Nice patio in the river. Lots of TV's scattered around. Service was ok the beer was decent. Nothing stands out but no flaws.“

“Looks a lot like Old White Bluffs because I was too tipsy to know it now occupies the same space and New White Bluffs moved up to 2034 Logston Blvd. This place is lots of fun, solid with the locals, good selection, growler fills, cool merch and a pleasant compliment to the other two breweries within stumbling distance.“

“This is actually the second time I’ve been here, with the first coming many years ago while visiting a good friend. So this place does hold some nostalgic value for me. It’s definitely a bit kitschy (read, the same as when it was built and probably needing an update), and it’s very much a family style restaurant. Still, it was comfortable with 2 children in tow, so that’s a good thing for us parental units. Food is OK, service was good, and the value is better than most things in Portland. Beer is mostly OK, but I like their seasonals a lot more. A solid, if unspectacular place to visit.“

“Visited here over the November 4th weekend. It’s small and centrally located, with a bunch of books, games, and shuffleboard scattered around in a comfortable living room. It’s cool to see, as well, that they donate money to Feeding America, but that’s kind of where the fun stops. The beer isn’t very good, unfortunately, though it’s not infected anymore, and it’s a little frustrating to here the style called a ’Crimson’ when no such thing exists. Moreover, $10 for 6 samples of this low quality is a rip-off. The Tri Cities isn’t exactly a thriving beer community, but they can do better than this.“

“So, mcberko is a hate rater. I was at the place with him, 26 is an overly low rating. The beer wasn’t pretty and not particularly worth seeking out. The place also seemed to be a bit not fully put together. But it appears that the location is in the happening part of town in Richland and there were some nice looking couches there. Ambiance is more of a coffee shop with barren walls than a brewery. I like how the beer was experimental, a Kvass on tap and a mango IPA. However, the beers didn’t look professionally made and tasted pretty bad but not horrific. I mean the kvass was rather urinal in nature but heck, how many breweries make a kvass.“

“Right in the heart of town, it’s a shame that this is the brewery that is most centrally located. 4 house beers on tap plus some guests. Flights available of 6 beers -- you can’t pick and choose, so I ended with more beer than I wanted that I had to pay for and ones I didn’t want. House beers were truly awful: 3 infections and 1 drinkable one. This is truly shameful stuff to be serving. Had a few sips of each and then walked out disgusted. Gotta fix this stuff. It’s amazing it can be sold.“

“Cool little place in the heart of "downtown" Richland. Feels like a family-style restaurant, with a nice balcony in back. Had a flight of beers (very cheap), but unfortunately many were infected and downright undrinkable. Friendly, quick service. For the shoddy beer quality, I can’t recommend this place.“

“Pretty expansive place across the way from Shrub Steppe. Good, varied selection of beers on tap, with a few standouts (really enjoyed the imperial stout). Flights / samples available for a great price. Friendly service and a fun place to hang out. Worth a stop when in town.“

“Nice little place directly off the highway as you are entering Richland, and right next to White Bluffs. 6 beers on tap when I visited, all available in a flight for a good price. Nothing particularly standout-ish to me, but the beers are decent. They are also a smokehouse (duh!), but no veggie options. Super friendly and helpful service. Worth a stop when in town.“

“This place was strange. OK beer selection. They also sell candy games snacks and artisan olive oil. The proprietor was very nice and offered to call other stores in the area for us to find a beer she didn’t have (that actually happened a few times in Kalamazoo). Worth a quick stop.“

“Fun little shop on the edge of the college campus. Beer selection was limited to the cooler but had some decent bottles available. Owner was very friendly and chatted us up for a while. I’d stop back.“

“Big selection of mainly small PNW brews. This place has about 25 taps for growler fills with serious cred...Stone W00T on draft to take home...crazy for me coming from Colorado.“

“Was on the way to another brewpub for lunch and wound up here instead. Unique experience - at least for me - of a smokehouse restaurant brewpub. Nice seating area inside and out. Open view of the kitchen was dissatisfying as were all the TVs. Food was high quality but a tad expensive - but I guess most bbq joints are that way. Nice selection of their beers.“

“Nice little store on Whites Rd. Selection is solid, and they sell singles too. Also had meads that weren’t available anywhere else in town. The woman working behind the counter was friendly too. I had a good experience here, and they will likely continue to expand their selection as their business grows.“

“Small taproom with a nice bar and some limited seating for very small gatherings. Out past the city limits made it a tough decision to venture out but it was well worth the miles. Active brewing going on in the back makes for a great backdrop aroma for guests. The warehouse feel in unavoidable given the setting but they have done a decent job in setting up the bar and dining area to make for a comfortable atmosphere. Great lineup of drinks on tap - lots of unique stuff with just a couple of general appeal brews for non-enthusiasts. The food far exceeded my expectations. The menu was simple appetizers and paninis but they were well-chosen, non-traditional offerings made with quality ingredients and severed with fantastic potato salad and chips. Certainly worth the drive.“

“The place is a converted dine-in restaurant that specializes in wood-fired pizzas (which, unfortunately I did not try). Small, well designed dining room with a nice bar and glass walls for viewing the brewing area. The decor was reminiscent of a pizza parlor with a very cool 50’s retro Atomic-Age style. Lots of bright neon colors with the cartoony font and rounded, atypical shapes. Friendly waitress who was very attentive. I would be a regular if I lived in the area.“

“First place I ever started at as a Ticker/Rate Beerian. So surprised to see this was not on the list. Very nice old A&W with tons of history with a great tap list. Beers can be hit and miss. Food was very good. A must stop for a ticker and beer geek.“

“A quality brewery that offers a wide selection with a pleasant view. This shop offers a lot to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable place to share a drink with a friend and forget the days events. To those nay sayers who bitch about quality or other issues...go open your own place and make a go of it on your own. This is one of the most relaxed off the beaten path places to go spend a small amount of coin for a large return on flavor and "quality" down time. For under $20 a couple can share a couple of hours sampling some really good brew...and by the way...their Biere de garde is off the hook! A place I will return to often...you should as well.“

“what. the. fuck. honky-tonk roadhouse exterior with a boxing ring-themed bar inside? i walked inside without putting on my jean jacket and NASCAR t-shirt and they all looked at me like i was a black transvestite who had come to steal their cigarettes and shotguns. what an experience.“

“i pull into the car-hop parking lot and have to double check i’m in the right spot... yep, it’s a converted burger stand. okay, it’s friday evening and families with kiddies are swarming the place. i got in an sit at the small bar for a taste. russian imperial stout is the new seasonal. a small glass is difficult to get through. i spend a few minutes getting a rate and get the hell out of dodge. not the sort of place i expected.“

“funny spot. limited hours but i’m driving through town, it’s a fairly new and unexplored brewery so i have to do it. situated outside of town next to what looks like a bank office, the taproom is small but crowded on a friday night. the brewer and employees are genuinely nice and easy to converse with and seem interested in talking about their beer, and travel in general. problem is, their beer really, really needs work. the brewer even stated that he’s never had french biere de garde, but on the "coming soon" list is a biere de garde. gaaaaah.“

“Over the Christmas holidays I took the family over the river and through the woods to Grandmas house and wouldn’t you know it there was a new brewery near where we were staying. White Bluffs Brewing opened about 6 months ago. This family is ready to make a go of the brewing biz. 2 barrel system that Mike (Brewer/Owner) used made some terrific brews. The place is in the outskirts of North Richland so be sure to map it out or have an up to date GPS so you find it. Or give them a call at the brewery they will help for sure. I got the sample tray and out came 6 brews - Biere de Garde nice easy drinking light Belgian Rocky Red simple hop sharp amber ale. Wheat beer Good mats with light hops grapefruit like finish and flavors. Dunkel toasty malt with light bitter chocolate and caramel nice finish. IPA#1 Golden in color good malts this was sharp with flavor Simco and Amarillo hops. IPA#2 Chocolate malt mixed with the hops this was not my brew but others there loved it. Had a great time met with Mike the Brewer/Owner he showed me around the brewery which was super new system. They take pride in brewing small batches and having a great time. The clientele mostly regulars and the place was jammed with seating for about 25. Sports playing on the TV’s and plenty of folks to chat with about beer. Small bar food is available like pretzels and peanuts. Glad to see the Tri-cites adding another reason for me to visit. See you soon White Bluffs and I will be sure to bring my empty growler for a refill. They have a strong FaceBook presence so follow them as they update on new brews being tapped. “

“Nice little place right off the river. Large open dining area and bar at the center. Decent pool tables. Service was terrible and the bartender was a no-nothing douche.“

“The beer is too sweet. Whether they didn’t hop it enough or the didn’t let it finish fermenting is hard to say. But the beer is not right. I think it would be decent at least if they fixed the issue. Anyway, it’s a nice stop for Richland, but there’s nothing special about this place other than its atomic theme. The food is fair. The atmosphere is that of a pizza shop or diner. The beer is not very good.“

“Never did try the food, I wanted to save the money for the beer. The beer was just average, but always great to get out and get a draft of something you cannot get any other way. Neat little place with a lot of history.“

“November 26, 2007 Came back for my next tritp now it is KIMO’s. Pretty much the same expect they need to clean the floors and wipe the tables. Dirty was the first thing I noticed. The beers are still retty good. Food the same Pub fare. 1st visit July 10 - 2005 I liked the place it was late when we went so the service was less than we wanted. I wished I got the Beer sampler so I could have tasted more than just the one beer. The river was great eat inside when the bugs are out.“

“Located in the downtown Richland area around a handful of strip malls. Looks like a converted drive-up diner with a more modern interior. Small brewing setup viewable from the front. Noisy inside with the locals, outside was just right. The staff did a nice job taking care of us and letting us know about the beers. The food was subpar for me on this visit. French Onion Soup: horrible (too salty) and a Bratwurst Sandwich that was just plain boring. The beers were all problematic save for one or two which were drinkable. Like Oakes said, too early, green, yeasty, whatever you want to call it.“

“Small pizza joint with a tiny brewery. "Family-oriented", never a good thing. The outside section fronts onto a busy street but proved a surprisingly cool place to hang out away from the rubes and screaming brats. Service was fine. Didn’t mind the grinder I had as everything was in balance. The menu otherwise is strictly pizza and pub fare. The beers weren’t so good, though. Most of them seemed like they really rushed them onto the taps before they were ready.“
