“Visited on a Thursday night. They have their own parking lot, so that’s nice. The place has all kinds of seating, including multiple couches and high tops. Bar service only, so you place your order at the bar. They also offer beer flights of 4 at a time. That’s a rare find in Vermont. Not to mention, the quality and diversity of beer styles is awesome. I had two flights, and every single beer was great. Friendly and knowledgeable servers. This is a must stop in Vermont, for me. I really loved this place.“

“Only stopped here as it was on our path to/from the trailhead for our hike of Camel’s Hump. Did the Burrows Trail, for those that are curious. Didn’t really even realize this place was here, to be honest.

Not too many folks in here drinking on a Friday mid-afternoon...shocking! Took a seat at the large L-shaped bar. A lot of space here and a lot of beers on tap. My count showed 14 of them, in fact. Wowe. They do flights of four and they’re pretty damn cheap at $5. Will also give you a small pour of something if you want to try it before you commit to a full glass. I thought beer quality here left a fair amount to be desired. The hoppy beers weren’t bad, but everything else was kind of meh.

Good service, mostly okay beers, and cheap. So, if you happen to be passing by, it’s not a bad stop. But don’t expect anything mindblowing.“

“So... I was looking for 2 specific IPAs and they didn’t have any at Craft Beer Cellar Watebury. The employee at CBC recommended me to have a look at this place Richmond Market and Beverage since it was on my way back home. This place really is a supermarket but there is one door that leads to the beer store. Don’t expect something as big as Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury or Winooski Beverage Warehouse but they had what mattered to me: My 2 beloved IPAs in the fridge. There was a 2 pack limit for one and no limit for the other one since they got the latter a few days before. I didn’t look at all the beers available since I had already my 9L limit but saw interesting stuff like Lolita and other Goose Island rarer stuff. The clerk was kind and and told me other places where I could find more of that first IPA. He didn’t really help me make my beer selection but I didn’t need any anyway. Will probably go again in a not-far future to find those IPA’s“

“This place was recommended by a friend of mine. Stopped in around 3PM on a Friday and they were fairly empty. Parking out front with no problem. Place has a backwoodsy feel; lots of natural wood. Bathroom a bit of a treck. Big L-shaped bar and plenty of room for tables. A stage where they have live music on weekend nights. Service was a little slow. They didnt really pay a lot of attention to me for a while, but were attentive and friendly once they did. Had about 10 taps running, including a couple of specials. They do taster flights of you choose four, but don’t put the specials on the flight. They poured me a Danish tick of the BA Kolsch(!) though, so all was well. I like the fact that the beers are well described, including ABV and IBU data. Beers themselves, well, I am not writing home about them. The Scottish and Chocolate porter were decent. The others I tried were marginal.“

“Went here with 2 buddies last night, Tuesday Feb 23rd. Very clean with pretty good service, all beers and food were served on time. Bartenders were extremely nice. Food was very good. Good selection. Focal Banger, Heady Topper, lotsa good Vermont offerings. I’d go back.“

“Stopped in at brewery after work, what a nice clean looking place. Barely anyone was there, but the bartender was exceptionally jovial was a stellar guy to talk to, great conversation. I had a flight with their new Juniper/Curacao Orange AIPA, holy hot damn and a half - made me feel like there’s no need ever to visit Hill Farmstead ever again, yeah, really, not kidding. The value seemed reasonable. Oh, hey guess what, they have citizen cider there, why, well, because they’re willing to do radlers for all you peeps out there looking for that sort of thing. I’ll definitely go back.“

“For being in a grocery store, the selection here was way better than I expected. Bottles tend to be all over dispersed between the liquor. A decent looking cold section right after the wine section. This is a very clean store that does these "mystery" 3 can bags that I’ve yet to pick up, I’m slightly skeptical about these bags but hey, I’d go back. Lotsa good local stuff and stuff I’ve never seen before. Oh yeah, and they have a big selection of Evil Twin stuff.“

“Visited on August 19, 2014 in the afternoon. Note: I’m the one who edited this place, because when I wanted to rate this store, I only found Richmond Beverage with a different address. After some research, I found that Richmond Beverage combined with Richmond Corner Market in 2010 to create this new grocery store. Very nice store, just off the main street (Bridge), it looks like a train station but it may not be one because it looks very new. From the main entry, there are two entries, one for the whole store and the other to the alcohol section with it’s own check out. So you don’t have to wait in line with your two 4 pack of Heady Topper, behind some dude with a cart full of cola. That is the reason why I went there, because the day before I saw it announced on The Alchemist website. As for the selection, it looks solid. I would not mind going back.“

“I have known of this place for quite a while, but never took the time to stop by... I’m glad that I did. A decent selection for a small store. The owners were very nice and reasonably knowledgeable about the beer that they offered. Prices were a bit expensive, but to be expected in a small establishment. Al be back...“

“For its size, a fine place to stop for beer. They make an effort to add to their offerings regularly. Friendly.“

“Great beer selection that seems to improve with each visit. This time around they had some sixers from Southampton and some great belgians. Non-alcohol items are cheap (candy bars & sodas) Located about 200’ from Rt. 2 it easy to find. Stop by and check it out.“

“My local liquor store, about 100 feet from my apartment. Surprisingly good selection for its tiny size, and the manager seems to be up on all the newest releases; I’ve frequently seen newly-available in Vermont beers here before anywhere else (case in point Flying Dog Saison, today). They are also one of the few small-town stores to carry McNeills. Nice little whiskey selection in back. Don’t go out of your way for this place, but it’s certainly the best stop between Montpelier and Burlington.“
